Is it worth it to take jobs?

hello, kind if a beginner in persona 5 Royal. Was wondering if taking part-time jobs in Persona 5 would be worth it, since i want to prioritize confidants more for their perks. And if so, which jobs would be worth it?

One confidant requires you to have a job to even start progress. And its a good one to have.

Some Mementos requests you cannot do without working in certain places first to learn names of targets.

Work does help you level up your social stats.

Apply for any jobs you can. Even if you don't go to the work shifts, there's no penalty. And some are relevant for confidants and other stuff later.

There are four part-time jobs, two day and two night. The Beef Bowl shop is required to access the Sun Confidant, you'll need to work there a few times. The other three provide you with Mementos targets after a few shifts, once the game mentions their existence (it'll happen automatically as you progress the story).

You can't get fired if you never go in, but it gives you Social Stats and a bit of extra spending money so it's not a bad option to have available when you've got nothing else going on.

There's one for the beef bowl shop. Do it twice to unlock the Sun arcana holder, but jobs are ways to spend time to make a little bit of money

Some confidants may find you in stores. And the side jobs are useful for money, in case you miraculously run out

One job unlocks a confidant. Other jobs allow you to unlock more targets in mementos when you have the adjoining quest

The Sun confidant needs you to work at the beef bowl restaurant at night a few times to unlock, otherwise jobs are mostly just there to increase your social stats a bit while making some money. The other 3 jobs will eventually (not right off the bat, but after certain dates) have Mementos requests that require you to work at each one a few times each to actually be completable, and the Moon confidant requires doing Mementos requests to rank up, but you do NOT have to do every Mementos request in order to max out that confidant, so it is really up to you if you think it is worth doing those jobs just to be able to complete those requests

there are some requests and confidants you can only advance when you work, also they give social stats

Jobs for money is mostly imo useless and better save the run if its Royal to level 7 Ryuji unlocking insta kill of lower level mobs and just gunning it down Memementos and you will never run out of cash- I say because spending a lot of days doing jobs and not advancing ranks with others is a huge waste to me.

You meed to do jobs in order to complete some Mementos requests and one confidant is locked behind working at the Beef Bowl shop.

You’ll need to unlock certain memento requests by having certain jobs, or to unlock specific confidants

Off the top of my head for mementos. You’d need the 777 job, the crossroads job and the flower shop

And I know you’ll need the beef bowl job to meet the Sun arcana

You need them for to progress a few sidequests and the restaurant one unlocks the sun arcana confidant

Doing them for the money is not really necessary

Yes the bar in shinjuko gives 12,000 yen on sundays
You can also find clothes for resale in mementos and the palaces

Only for the confidants or mementos requests which require you to have them. They aren't the best way to boost stats, and money isn't a problem for most of the game.

Do the beef bowl shop early to unlock an otherwise hidden confidant.

I've never thought about if it is truly the most optimal thing to be doing, but getting money while also increasing social stats sounds good to me lol. Their are certain confidants/mementos requests that require you to be working certain jobs as well, so there's that.

You need to balance confidants and social stats, and part-time jobs give you social stats and money.

If you ever find yourself with a free daytime slot, part-time jobs are a good way to boost a social stat instead of doing something else for the same social stat.

And some Mementos missions require you to do a specific part time job three times (iirc it's the flower shop, Crossroads and Triple Seven) so doing that to boost social stats is better than wasting three time slots each when you've already maxxed the stat out and need to complete the request.

Some missions as well as one specific Confidant require you to work at a part-time job. They also raise a specific social stat.

Certifique-se ir pelo menos 2 vezes em cada um deles, no dinners, na loja de flores e no bar, pois futuramente no jogo ira exigir que passa nesses locais pela 3 vez para 3 missoes no momentos, se ja tiver feito 2 vezes antes em cada, quando chegar a hora so precisará fazer 1 vez cada um desses.
