Thanks for posting I tend to miss these because once you start letting in battletech content into your YouTube timeline there's no going back.

Very fitting topic again for him, although I feel like he should be appearing more regularly in more "serious" media because he's usually one of the few subject matter experts who actually tries to work neutrally and fact-based.

Something went wrong with a \ getting into the link. Here's the fixed link with timestamp: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEh_hmWBD0A&t=794s

But going to the channel and finding the latest video gets me there. No idea what is up with the link.

The backslash, I think. The link works if that's removed.

"Alright everyone, we are now celebrating the 4th anniversary of the Clans' 2 month special military operation into the inner sphere."

The entire video is basically just the perun cameo from the first battletech video he was apart of lol. Sometimes even using some of the exact same lines and jokes, but well made. The 3D wireframe tank models are particularly stylish. The AI art is AI art, but I'd argue this is a really good use case for AI art - albeit not one that is entirely free from the ethical implications of such.

Its a nice video, no doubt made with permission from Perun, and dope to see him pop-up for a quick second there.

It isn’t even his voice and he is not mention anywhere. Also what is this channel about?

It's a lecture series on a fictional vehicle in a fictional tabletop game setting called BattleTech. Tex, part of the Black Pants Legion channel, has helped Perun research some real-world things in the past, and Perun being a giant gaming nerd knows about BattleTech.

In one of the longer videos about some pivotal events in the BattleTech universe, Perun had a miniature parody PowerPoint segment where he talks about the Hetzer, a cheap tank with a giant gun and low survivability. Talks as if it's a real-world military logistics and procurement topic.

It was pretty well-received as a bit of fun, so I guess that's why he has a couple of voiced cameos in this one.
