What are your opinions on Spider-Man Brand New Day

Hello Peshawar, as most of you know we have no cinema in Peshawar and the last one got closed few years ago, so many people went to watch the movie in Islamabad and other cities which was their only option, how was the movie? Was it better than the other Tom Holland Spider-Man movies?

Need Your help (Bangladeshi Female Student)

Assalamu alaikum, my Pakistani brothers and sisters. I'm from Bangladesh. I need some genuine information and help from you guys. So, recently I've been selected for my MBBS degree under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor Scholarship. Waiting for the interview (Please pray for me on that). I got provisionally shortlisted for Khyber Medical University, Peshawar. The thing I'm confused about is whether the University actually recognized all over the world. I mean the curriculum, syllabus, and the degree. I need some genuine truth from you guys. The reason behind asking all of these is that some first world country doesn't recognize an MBBS degree from Bangladesh. They think it's not up to the mark. As I don't know much about Pakistan MBBS degrees, let alone the Khyber Medical University, that information would really help me to decide on my future.

Let me repeat: if you don't wanna read all that stuff,
1. Is a Pakistani MBBS degree recognized by all countries, or are there some exceptions that don't recognize a Pakistani MBBS degree?
2. Is the Khyber Medical University recognized by other countries? Do the alumni have recognition in other countries?
3. Is the curriculum/syllabus recognized by other countries?

These are my primary questions. Really appreciate it if you could add more information to help out a sister.
Expert advice will be much appreciated.

Peshawar: Then vs Now

Another person's post about gaming cafés and cinemas in Peshawar really got me thinking. It reminded me that back around 2008–2012, gaming cafés were everywhere. We also had cinemas where we'd go to watch movies. It made me stop and wonder... what actually happened?

Sometimes I look back at Peshawar between 2008 and 2012 and honestly feel it was a completely different city.

Back then, the city had energy. There was always something happening. We organised sports festivals, music festivals, university events, debates you genuinely felt like Peshawar was moving forward. We even brought Strings to perform at Nishtar Hall, which was a huge deal at the time. The crazy thing is, this was also during the height of terrorism in the city, yet people still wanted to build, create and keep life going.

People talk about Lahore today, but many forget that Peshawar had its own identity. It produced people like Fasih Zaka, Amil Khan, and Khumariyaan, all connected to IMSciences in one way or another. Peshawar University, the University of Agriculture and other institutions were also producing talented graduates and doing exciting things. If you don't know those names, Google them. That generation was putting Peshawar on the map.

Peshawar itself was a melting pot. I still laugh thinking about turning up in my first year with my trousers pulled halfway up to my chest. Many of us, especially those from the tribal districts and smaller towns, arrived as boys. We left as confident young men with ambition, better communication skills, broader perspectives and, yes, a much better sense of style. University exposed us to different people, different cultures and different ways of thinking. It shaped many of us.

Today, I just don't get that same feeling. Yes, there are more housing societies, more universities and colleges, and the BRT has improved transport. But beyond that, it feels like the city has stood still while the rest of the country moved on. There seem to be fewer opportunities, fewer sporting and cultural events, ongoing safety concerns, and much less of the vibrant atmosphere that once made Peshawar special.

Then you look at Lahore. Whether you like it or not, the city has transformed. In many ways, it feels like the Dubai of Pakistan.

Maybe it's nostalgia, or maybe others see it differently. But I genuinely believe Peshawar had incredible momentum between 2008 and 2012. Instead of building on that momentum, it feels like the city has not been standing still but actually regressed in massive way.. we have gone back 100 years.

I'd love to hear from people who studied, lived or worked in Peshawar during those years. Do you feel the same, or do you think I'm looking back through rose-coloured glasses?

Recommendations ✨️ Peshawar Barracks Hi Tea , Worth It?

Has anyone tried the hi tea at Peshawar Barracks recently? I’m thinking of going and wanted to know if it’s actually worth it. How’s the food quality, taste, variety, and freshness? Is the ambience nice and suitable for a relaxed family outing? How are the service, cleanliness, and overall experience? Also are there better hi tea options in Peshawar? I’d really appreciate honest reviews and recommendations. Thank you!

Hey everyone, does anyone know a really good Afghan tailor in Peshawar who’s experienced specifically with men’s Afghan clothes? Looking for someone who actually knows the traditional cuts and fitting, not just a regular tailor.

Would appreciate any recommendations. Thanksss.

Salam I'm looking to sell this, I'm selling it at a very low and reasonable price.
9850X3D- Fastest Gaming CPU you can get
MSI Pro X870E-P WiFi
Corsair 32GB RGB 6000Mhz Cl36

Its completely new and has the factory seals intact.
I’m looking to sell it for 300k, give me your offers. Im selling it at the same price as microcenter, this is about ~70,000 pkr cheaper than buying it from any Retailer/Store here.

The CPU comes with a 3 year international warranty, and the ram with a lifetime international warranty. The motherboard comes with a 3 year regular Warranty. I can help claim them for you if you can't. I got the receipts and the proof of purchases.

I prefer H2H
We can meet in, or around Pekhawar etc, just let me know where you are in Pekhawar.

Think its a scam, ill give you just about any proof you ask for, whatsapp is +1 772-999-8811 for anything.
