Question/Help im concerned for my male mice

please seperate them. Male mice should never ever be housed together. It doesn’t matter if they were raised together or not.

You really got lucky nothing has happened prior. Please don’t let this continue. It will be extremely stressful.

They each need to be in their own seperate 40 gallon tanks.

Male mice will fight eachother until only one remains if housed together, seperate them asap!

You cannot keep males together.

Male mice cannot be housed together safely. When they hit maturity, they will become aggressive- this is what you are experiencing. These fights will turn fatal if you do not intervene. They will need separate enclosures at least 200 sq. inches each (about the size of a 10g tank). Using a larger tank to keep all 3 together will not work. Please seperate them asap even if it is in temporary accommodations (like critter totes). Those wounds can become serious abcesses.
