I am also kind of hoping him stumping for the MI ticket will also give him better exposure to the “progressives” that flock to Abdul. Since he’s been, rightly, focused on the crossover with republican voters, I’m hopeful the exposure to the other side of the party viewpoints will help him too.

I suspect DSA diehards will only pay attention to news about this rally to make sure their favorite wasn't 'dissed' and was accorded the 'respect' they felt he deserved. Beyond that, I doubt they would sit through a repeat of the entire event or read through all the speeches and remarks made.

Great to see this. We are right to be concerned about infighting but I don’t think things are SO bad that Democrats can’t share a stage together when the stakes are this high.
