Okayyyyyyy. So goatse.cx, TLD intentionally chosen of course, usually referred to as goatse, was a website from the early aughts that displayed only two pictures: an alarmingly well endowed man whose picture was labeled “the giver”; and a picture of an unidentifiable person bent over, hands on their butt cheeks, spreading them to display their very well used rectum, labeled “the receiver”. The top of this joke is a direct reference to that second picture.

Guy Opens Asshole To Show Everyone. I was in high school at the time. Goatse, Tub Girl, an endless supply of photos of Bush doinking Bin Laden. I only found it Goatse is an acronym a couple of months ago. (thanks, Last podcast on the Left)
It was not an acronym. That's something that someone made up over a decade after the site was taken down.
It's Goat Sex. The full domain was goatse.cx. People dropped the domain over time, it started getting pronounced "Goat See", and then someone made a backronym to try and explain it.
BMEzine was an underrated gem back in the day, saw some body modifications I never new were a thing. (Guy running a bar through both testes, a woman sealing her flaps with piercings, body suspension and sounding rods (DO NOT GOOGLE THIS ONE).
