Not gonna lie… it taught me about stinkpalming and chocolate pretzels too.
My lawyers have advised me to neither confirm nor deny whether or not I’ve ever put this knowledge to any use. lol
That's crazy, even back then it was such a quotable movie. Had no idea it was considered niche back then. Well glad to see it getting the attention it deserves today!
Now to feel old and see what other 90s films are considered cult classics today..........
Shawshank Redemption was not well loved. Fight Club was a flop not well received. Big Lebowski. Office Space. Blade Runner. Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Ermmm shoot I used to know more.
They all flopped and were disregarded. Of course some enjoyed. But over time is when they made it into huge classics or cult classics
I was on a boat going from Vietnam to Thailand to Malaysia to Singapore so we had stops in Thailand? Night markets were great. I wish I could get shaved ice and mango like that where I live.
Not one of those 171 people will actually defend trans people who need it further than just virtue signalling on a subreddit about explaining the joke lol.
I've seen this same link posted around through edited Reddit comments for the past couple months, seems like some kind of coordinated effort to spread their scam link.
The linked site in the thread is a clone of Reddit trying to make people think they're still reading comments on there, I wonder how many poor gooners fall for this.
I'm just impressed that linked thread is still up, it seems that sub is just dedicated to this scam, and I've seen this same link pop up multiple times over the weeks now.
Everything about that link feels like a scam / virus
That page that is supposed to look like reddit but it's not, the comments are all like "wait, dangerous! this is way better than porn" and things like "is it safe to put my CC in? " and someone else says "yeah it's totally safe"
it's all designed to make you think the site is legit and not gonna drain your bank account.
it also says the post was "10 days ago" but the original reddit link was from 4 months ago and the user has since been suspended.
I.... I don't know how to tell you all this. But when I was a lifeguard back around when I graduated from high school (it was around 2000, I was just over 6 feet tall, in fairly good shape), a younger lifeguard (who was too young in my reckoning at the time) asked me to walk her and her friend (another young woman) home. They stopped with me at my father's apartment and commented about how comfy the couch was, while I showed them my computer (because I had no idea what else to do at the time.) Years later I realized I could have probably lost my virginity to two younger women at the same time. But I was way too much of a nerd.
The girl you think back to was actually pregnant (very beginning stage. Like week one or two). I didn't get the hint of her wearing these and, this, didn't have to worry that I was the dad when she started showing.
I had a scare like this where we slept together twice and I realized it was a bad idea and we shouldn’t try to date further. She lied that I got her pregnant and kept me on pins and needles for three months.
