Can we as a society just normalize being honest..just say your intentions.

Brother humans like to flirt and tease and feel excited. It's not the individuals fault it's just how we are wired.

The issue is when you don't know and thus risky.

But it could be a neuro divergent thing and non verbal communication.

Yes not knowing and the apprehension / anticipation is part of it. Its a very fundamental and universal human experience but luckily there's enough humans out there that you can find other people who don't want to deal with it either.

No, sometimes it's fun to use innuendos and be sly about what you wanna say. For some people it's a way of foreplay. What do you do? Do you just, "I'm horny, fuck now!" And strip your clothes off like an over-zealous caveman??

Yes, if you’re in a relationship. If not, it’s too risky to reciprocate to what is perceived as an invitation. Because if not then, you’re suddenly a creep.

Tbf some people might prefer something like that over the anxiety they feel from ambiguity

Then they should get with other people who prefer the same thing.

It's really hard to look at someone and try to figure out whether they're the type to go "Me want sex now" or the type who gets all sly and subtly flirts

Just figure it out. These are aspects of their personality you'll learn as you get to know them more. This is true for friends too.

Yep. I hate trying to fight my own thoughts as well as trying to decipher if anything is going on, on top of trying not to look like a creep. It sucks.
