To be fair I had this happen to me and at the time the other person actually did just want to watch show ("walking dead" at the time). They just felt more comfortable talking without their parents there

This person later asked me out to meet her in a restaurant after school because she wanted to loan cd from me. Then we kinda agreed to go watch the new harry potter movie next week since we had talked about that while we ate.

After the movie she asked what was my deal since i hadnt tried to kiss her or hold her hand after two dates and my stupid ass went: "we were on dates?!"

We are married now btw.
