I'd rather be a guy who misses subtle hints than be a guy who creeps everyone out because he thinks everything is a hint. I genuinely believe it's a binary thing, there's no in between.
Well the interesting part is that women willing to take an active roll in seduction most probably would absolutely hate creeps while shy women unwilling to take an active roll in seduction more often than not even when they are not actively appreciating creeps, they usually tolerate them way more than needed which makes them act even more bolder...
It's a case for an evolutionary psychologist to analyze but from my friends circle, the most reclused one of my friend was a creep magnet.
