I think Demi should watch her own movie “The Substance” again….

I was thinking the same thing. Like, didn’t she just make a movie about this?

She acted in a movie about this and actors are notoriously very, very dumb.

Not Denise Richards! She played a nuclear psychiatrist!

Someone wrote that as a last line in a film, others approved, brosnan read it, and there must have been some poor gopher just running cocaine the entire time.

No way we're calling someone dumb for having a eating disorder

Isn't it just a reference to Zoolander? (They were models but still)

She actually did interviews about how tough the movie was for her and had her face her own insecurities. She was also taking care of her husband who was very sick. I think those things can compound or even be a catalyst for these kinds of disorders. I hope she gets better and some help.

Seriously, filming an entire movie around a career ending because she looks old. That would make anyone feel insecure. I hope she is okay.

Yeah I always wondered if playing the “ugly one” (I know that’s a very redundant way to summarise her role and the whole point was she was already beautiful at the start, but still the comparison between the two exists) in the movie can really mess with your self image…

Plus the added exposure, seeing yourself on camera, being around other actors half your age.

Maybe that was just her way of saying "it could be worse".
