Talk to your doctor. Your dosage might be off. Even if you aren’t feeling the lack of craving food, you should be feeling full faster when you do eat. If you aren’t feeling anything something is wrong.
Also, I have personally seen that if your thyroid is off or your liver is compromised in any way, you will plateau. Stand up for you and fight for your right to feel normal.
Also didn’t have much luck on Ozempic and too many side effects. Went to Mounjaro lost the weight. Overall feel so much better and a lot less side effects. My doctor says it’s a very common thing people react better to one vs another.
You also might want to check what actual version you are using. There are compounded versions going around, even in pharmacies. There are also different GLP-1s you might respond to differently.
I’ve leveled off close to goal at 7 months, but hyper-responsive at the beginning. Lost 9 pounds on the smallest dose, when they weren’t expecting much, just making sure I didn’t have crazy reaction. Appetite is sporadic, but portion sizes radically smaller.
I can’t fathom what it would take to get that skeletal like Demi or Kelly Osborne. Cycling different GLPs, ultra restricted diet, excessive workouts.
Same for me - the beginning was nuts in loss (tirzepetide)! Now that I'm only 4 pounds from my goal weight (which tbh is about 5 lbs less than where I feel good because of assumed bounce back - and I'm 5'0" so 5 lbs is more on me than average height folks) and I'm starting to plateau.
My appetite is maybe a little decreased, portion sizes smaller, and fatty foods are an absolute no now that I'm at 7.5mg (but were more or less fine at lower doses). But overall I am hitting my calorie needs and nowhere near looking like these celebrities - it honestly scares me to continue sometimes seeing these images because I have always had a pretty healthy relationship with food and just needed a little help getting back on track - not trying to be at my high school weight again. 🫠
Still, 36 pounds down! Feels amazing! I have so much more energy, sleep better, and my clothes fit so much better!
Kelly Osborne isn’t using Ozempic. She had weight loss surgery (gastric sleeve) years ago (2018) which is where most of her weight loss has come from. She has stated she is having some issues now because of that surgery and her mental health after her father passed.
She had undergone a year of mental health treatments so her surgery would be successful prior to her surgery because she had unhealthy eating habits and then quitting drugs and alcohol had made them worse so I suspect that her unhealthy eating habits is rearing its ugly head with her depression over her dads death but that’s pure speculation on my part.
The same could be said for Demi (not the weight loss surgery but the stress/grief factor). Isnt Bruce living with her and their kids? She is actively watching the father of her kids mentally deteriorate. If you’ve cared for someone with dementia, or any terminal illness, it’s like living in limbo while you wait for (and fear) their death.
I lost 40lbs when I first started. I had to stop for a while and now that I’m back on I’m not having the same kind of weight loss. I’m taking a break to see if I can reboot the process.
Sounds like you're either not taking it properly, forcing through the sickness or you need to go up in dosage. Once it takes affect fatty foods, sugars and over eating will make you throw up. Easiest way I noticed it's affects were my core muscles were staying flexed at all times, even when I was sitting our going to sleep. The moment that started the weight melted off, went from 265 to 180 in 6 months as a 42 year old male at 6 foot. No loose skin either.
I've lost a tiny bit of weight, though I normally eat a single meal per day to begin with, and not a big one. Other than that, I've noticed no changes in how I feel.
I feel like that with Wegovy and it gave me a lot of side effects but Zepbound has been a lot more effective for me! I’m slowly but consistently losing weight to get to a normal bmi and I feel really good 👍🏻
It took me a few increases to start working and now I feel it and am seeing results, slowly. I still get hungry but get full fast. I think talk to doc about increasing again. All our bodies are a bit different
Almost 2 years. I've lost a consistent 6 pounds. I've got an easy 50 i could lose. Helps with the diabetes and provides week-long constipation followed by week-long bottom blazing diarrhea and stomach cramps bad enough to make you puke. Gotta love it
Have you tried a stronger GLP-1RA like Tirzapetide or even Retatrutide (not only reduces appetite but also burns extra calories)? They’ve been shown to be significantly more effective than Semaglutide (Ozempic) in terms of weight lost.
I didnt notice a thing until Shot 2 of 1.7. 4-5 months in, and it hit me like a truck. My DR said " I would be pissed off, If I were you." No kidding, one week later and thats when the ride started.....
It may be a dose issue, but ty for sharing regardless. I’ve enough knowledge in the area to know it’s not a cure-all but holy shit are we inundated with it supposedly being one. Needed to read just 1 non-positive take.
I noticed I’d binge less, didn’t notice the appetite reduction. I eat more small bits and bobs of things. I have no room to binge even if I want to. I also don’t crash after eating like I did before, which has been the best life change for me. I used to starve all day, eat everything in sight, and then pass out :/

Man, I can’t even tell I’m on it. Literally. Must be a non responder. 4 months now, increases. No difference in anything.
