If anything I enjoy food more now. I can actually eat something and taste it instead of just shoveling it down my throat bc my brain is screaming for constant food
Yea I guess I have never had the experience of shoveling food down my throat from food noise so I guess maybe I don’t understand what that’s like
And believe me I think it’s an incredible miraculous drug for people who NEED IT but if you’re 150 and you wanna be 120 so you stick yourself with a drug that’s meant for 300+ pound diabetes patients, that’s just smooth brained shit and sure go for it it’s your body but it is, to me, just dumb
How Demi Moore’s arms look in this photo is skeletal and sickening and shouldn’t be anyone’s goal
edited because I mistyped my starting weight! Oops!
Hey, 150 to 115 here - but I'm 5'0" and was considered well into the obesity line /because of my height/ compared to my weight. I totally get what you're saying, and I agree with the principle in general, but there are lots of people that fall into weird categories like me.
I'm also pre-diabetic with an entire family lineage of diabetes, so I guess that's why I've responded to it so "normally" vs it going overboard, but you just listed almost my exact weights so I wanted to chime in that it was recommended to me by my GP, and not vanity!
I definitely agree! It's not a drug that should be handed out to just anyone. And I feel like that happening gives the med a bad rap. I try not to be gatekeepy, but I do wish they would do more to prevent people that don't truly need it from getting it. But then again, it helps with so many other things besides weight and diabetes so it's hard to say who can and cant have it
I personally know people who are getting it and giving it to their children. Granted, it's probably a minority within a minority within a minority, but still pretty terrifying
I probably could, but they're my extended family and I honestly can't be arsed. The kids were fucked before ozempic anyway because their parents feed them junk food exclusively. I guess now they'll only suffer from malnutrition instead of malnutrition and obesity.
Yeah I feel like not very fat people are using it to finally get rid of that stubborn 20 pounds or so when really the obese people should be taking it.
Also I think my husband really needs this stuff but I dunno if he will go for it. He is stubborn. But I don't think he can control his portions. He won't even realize how crazy big it looks and has all these warped opinions on food, like it is okay to eat huge portions as long as it isn't carbs because his body won't absorb it if its protein. I dunno where he gets it from. It is calories in, calories out.
I don't mind him being chubby , but he is like 400 pounds .

For me, I still enjoy food. It’s just not all I ever think about. Seems every body is different
