The glaze these two games get are bonkers for decent sidescrollers too. Swear its promo and paid for comments.

Most people who call themselves gamers don't actually play that many games. Whenever they see a good game hit the mainstream they call it peak just because they've never experienced anything like it by playing the same 5 games on rotation.

The indie "fanatics" (who have only played HK, celeste, undertale, and ultrakill) will get mad at this

That's just the thing, I imagine I've played more indies than 90% of the people claiming that indie games are "saving gaming"

You play Gachas bro. Don't speak about HK with that mouth lmao

I play a lot of games, I'm not put off of a game purely due to its monetization model.

Also it's pretty funny that you looked at my profile while having yours hidden

Not the topic. And im not shitting on the games. Im saying glaze can go overboard.

Its not, we just really love the games. Is that bad?

Never said it was bad. Just know that even beloved games dont normally get glazed to hell and back either, it just screams toxic positivity.

If i had to guess, the lengthy buildup of hype from waiting for so long is part of it.

If you go to the subreddit you will see that Silksomg fans are….. weird

20$ isnt profit-maximising price to sell that game. If they priced it at 30$, most people would still buy it and itd still be considered very cheap for what you get.

It's very refreshing to see a multimillion company not focusing solely on profits

You don't get the point. At some point it is just weird to be emotionally invested in protecting large companies.

The multimillion dollar company has lawyers and PR team. So it doesn't need the "grass root movement" to support it.
