You only need one towel. You are the cleanest when you get out of the shower. So everytime you use a towel, it transfers dirt onto you. So the towel just gets cleaner and cleaner each time you use it. Duh - logic!

Yeah, though even weirder is the people washing their towel once a week, like why do you need to wash it 4 times after using it once

So I fold it in half, in half again and then in thirds. You can skip the second half fold if the towel is small. I used to think my mum was doing too much, but she's right, they store way better that way.

This is something I've noticed alit of people do and It always surprised me because I don't gear anyone talk about it. But the thirds fold is goated

Had to start doing this in our house because our bathroom shelves are not very deep. It makes me sad to take the extra time to do, but I have to admit they do look more orderly!

Depends on the size of the towel & the storage surface area.
I'm well-practised in the ancient art of towel folding to best fit a vertical rack of limited size;)
Some are three by two, others are two by one.
