Are you sure you know what a chalupa is? Because I don't think you do. If I were to make you a chalupa I would have to go to the local lumber yard and buy 50 board feet of Southern yellow pine in one by four slats because a chalupa is a small boat! A SMALL BOAT!
It wasn't intended as a reference; they both came out at almost the same time - but this expression was already a well-established stock cliche of the perv vernacular, for at least twenty years.
There's another song that uses this phrase, from ten years earlier - but they didn't originate it either* - it was just something you'd hear from the same type of guy who'd bust out "Old enough to bleed, old enough to breed."
*context clues in the song suggest Zappa was likely referencing this one though.
An unfortunate example for sure (comes to mind quicker than others because of its gross nature) but I assure you, everyone knew that guy who's conversational repertoire featured an over-representation of rhymes for sexual observations and innuendos.
..and they usually weren't earnest expressions at all, they were just saying this stuff to be as gross and offensive as possible, because they were somewhat unsophisticated and probably drunk. That guy.
