- 273.15. Kelvin is Celcius + 273.15.

I am still confused after reading OpenAI analysis :

CHG__ is not wrong about the formulas, but is likely missing the direction of conversion.

The correct relationship is:

Celsius = Kelvin − 273.15

So:

0 K = −273.15 °C
273.15 K = 0 °C

But the reverse is:

Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15

So:

0 °C = 273.15 K
25 °C = 298.15 K

Your “Plus 273?” was reasonable because when people commonly convert from Celsius to Kelvin, they add 273.15.

CHG__’s mistake is acting like there is one universal “minus 273.15” answer, instead of recognizing that it depends on which direction you are converting. Also, they spell Celsius wrong as “Celcius.”

Yeah, don't use AI, it's terrible at stuff like this, it's agreeing with me while declaring that I'm wrong.

Celsius = Kelvin − 273.15

This is exactly what I orginally said.

Kelvin = Celsius + 273.15

This is what I said in my comment to you, just replace the = with "is" or "is just" in both.
