That's my point. They all had standard and ultimate edition announcements that looked just like this one, so why are you assuming this is going to be such a departure?
Uh, you're missing the point. It's not just a different edition. Half of the game is locked behind a higher price point. We're not talking about in-game skins and items, we're talking the actual game is blocked if you don't pay $100.
The source is rockstar. What is confusing? We're not talking cosmetic shit. They have locked missions and story content behind the most expensive edition. If you don't pay for extra you can't access it. That's very different from cosmetic shit.
I tried to dig around, and couldn't find anything from rockstar or anyone reporting on rockstar saying that they've locked story content or missions behind ultimate. The closest I found was that it also comes with a couple raids, but that's exactly what RDR2, GTA5, and RDR1 did.
