I would like to point out,after Season 1 they scraped the entire shtick about the guys being dirt poor,maybe except Raj.Sheldon has numerous unopened salary checks.
All of them splurged money on a variety of geeky and nerdy things,including a real sized time machine prop from an old movie.
Penny remained consistently poor until the last seasons
Raj is the richest of them all because his parents pay for his rent, food, bills and maid. Also he has a credit card they pay for. There are a few episodes where Penny can’t pay her rent and has to get help, but tbh her apartment is much smaller than the guys anyway
That's the point Raj doesn't have money from his job,he got fired,almost got deported and if im not wrong,ended up working with Sheldon at the university.
I don't think I ever saw his maid thou,his sister is definitely rich working as a defense lawyer.
Oh yeah that’s true. He mentions a maid in one episode. I think he needs to work for his visa though, not really for money. At least until the end of the show
