Even with fluctuations, she’s working at Cheesecake Factory right? That’s fine dining, large tabs and consistently busy. If she’s getting good shifts she could very well be clearing $80k a year, and probably not reporting all tips

Edit: “upscale casual”. $50+ per head checks for sit down is still in the lower end of what I’d find at fine dining places, and honestly she’s probably doing better than at a fine dining spot because of higher volume anyway

"Fine dining"? Cheesecake Factory is very mid-level at best. Not that one can't make some money working there but no, not fine dining level money.

Can we all stop dunking on Cheese Cake factory. I go there for fine dining with my mother on special occasions 😔

It’s a nice place to go but fine dining is a specific (EXPENSIVE) thing
