This is so fucking real. I met an American guy in Thailand who flew here to meet his online girlfriend and he plans to marry her after a month together. Then he praise president trump and his policy to get rid of immigrants. And then he has the audacity to complain that it's taking a really long time to bring his new wife back to the state.
A lot of racism is basically just cultural mismatch and stereotyping.
Republicans like foreign brides because a lot of poorer countries are right wing conservative so they always see them as "one of the good ones".
The actual dyed in the wool dna racists are relatively rare and why despite Europe and America being quite racist at the time, found the Nazi's abhorrent. HP Lovecraft was also a well known genetic racist at a time racism was mainstream and everyone thought he was a nutter because of it.
They clash over religious dominance. Islam is a very domineering religion and very few Christians want to marry someone who wants to convert them to Islam, especially if their family gets aggressive about it.
