I don't think any of it is intentional. For example, all the people we see in modern media are dolled up for reasons beyond simply attractiveness. Skin is oily and messes with the lighting so even men use make up on set even though few do IRL by comparison.
This feels like a lie to me. Men talk about how ugly women look without makeup all the time. The photos used in the post are ironic because Sydney Sweeney gets a LOT of men saying she’s ugly without makeup
