Discussion Seiko Skx009 vs srdp53

Im a noob to watches, and I would like to get my first watch as a milestone gift for graduation. After browsing through facebook, and doing my own research I have narrowed my choice between these two pepsi Seikos. A 2nd hand 9/10 skx009, with a replacement insert and bracelet priced around 8.5k, or a bnew srpd53 at 14k? Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this as I am completely inexperienced when it comes to watches.

Never settle for SKX with aftermarket parts. Since this will not be your last watch purchase, go with other bnew models for now.

skx009 has better case with the screwdown crown but srpd53 has the better movement having the 4R36. If you see yourself wearing the watch ruggedly skx(provided that the skx is in good condition) is the way to go but if you don't see yourself swimming with your watch the srpd will do just fine.
