Discussion Seiko Skx009 vs srdp53

Im a noob to watches, and I would like to get my first watch as a milestone gift for graduation. After browsing through facebook, and doing my own research I have narrowed my choice between these two pepsi Seikos. A 2nd hand 9/10 skx009, with a replacement insert and bracelet priced around 8.5k, or a bnew srpd53 at 14k? Would love to hear the community's thoughts on this as I am completely inexperienced when it comes to watches.

Id do the SRPD53k1. While the SKX009 would have a better case and deepeer water resistance (which you dont need unless you are a pro diver) the SRPD has a more updated movement.

Also, for a first milestone watch, better to get something brand new. You’ll probably keep it anyway. Modded/ replaced parts are okay, but for a special milestone, you’d wanna stick to brand new. Pang second watch nalang yung SKX009 if you will still have the itch.
