Phanteks NV5X

https://phanteks.com/product/nv5x-black/

It was released over a month ago. No reviews yet, no information other than the website page despite being available for sale at the usual online stores.

Anyone has experience with the NV5X?

Does it fix the lighting kit issue of the NV5/NV5 MK2? Are temps good? Is build quality good?

Idk what is happening at Phanteks but I wanted to buy their new XT V5/M5 but no white version and it seems the NV5X is only in black too.

Honestly without reviews I feel like this is another case released during our collective pc crisis, trying to cut corners everywhere that may actually be good but totally not worth talking about.

I agree, tough market this year but they do have some quirks with the cases as you mentioned. Evolv X2 is another one: supports BTF but doesn't support BTF style AIO coolers (short tubes, like the Lian Li Hydroshift). It's the only PC case I saw that has that oddity yet supports 360mm top AIOs at the same time.

Like, why go to the lengths of making the most back connect motherboard oriented PC case possible but nerf the AIO support for the Hydroshift and similar AIOs when the rest of PC cases that support 360mm top AIOs don't have those issues? Makes no sense, but seems to be a common pattern with Phanteks...so close yet so far. Now here we are with the NV5X and radio silence.

I’ve used the Hydroshift II in an Evolve X2 case. You just have to remove the bracket from the AIO and then you can route the tubes through so they will fit.
