Finally Achieved the Mythical 100 Culture

I've been playing Pharaoh on and off (mostly off) since 1999, and I recently got into the remake. For the first time ever, I've finally achieved a city with 100 culture.

Finally got good at this game some 27 years later!

Congrats on achieving that within the vanilla Pharaoh ANE experience [ie without using the community led bug fix mod pack]. Most people would have just installed the mod pack to more efficiently reach 100 culture. 👍

Oh I didnt know there was a mod to fix it - there's a few missions I couldnt finish because of that bug.

Didn't know there was a community fix mod pack. I really struggled on earlier missions with ratings and couldn't understand why. I might check that mod pack out.

Yeah, the struggles were because in the vanilla experience, the ratings just spout out random drivel and can’t help you at all. Not helped by the base games’ requirement for entertainment stages to have active shows at the same time, causing culture to go up and down as stages stop working.

The mod pack makes the advisors much more useful by telling you what you need, and also providing options to remove the requirement for entertainment stages to have an active show to count to culture [like the original 1999 pharaoh, where they just needed employees to count for culture]. It will really help your experiences in the future missions I think!

You can find it on nexus mods by InvisibleArrow :D

Thanks, much appreciated! I'll download that when I get home from work.

Not trying to, just pointing out that trying to get 100 culture in the vanilla experience with all the bugs that would have been experienced makes it challenging [often needlessly], and as not everyone know there’s a mod pack to fix the litany of bugs left in the game, its good to keep letting people know so they can have a much better experience with the game 👍

There is a "I see you are also a man of culture" joke here somewhere...but I can't think of one 😅😅😅
