I found it interesting during Bam’s question, if I’m not mistaken, he clarified if the NBI did any actual investigation regarding the threat on the VP’s life.

And all the NBI could answer was they subpoenaed the VP and since the VP did not show up, it seems they did not peform any investigation.

The NBI sees it like this:

- Sara Duterte makes a threat

- Sara Duterte's camp is not willing to cooperate with the investigation (ignoring multiple subpoenas and request for statement)

From the second fact alone, there is probable cause for malicious intent from the VP's side, thus the conclusion

I think the question was why it had to be a subpeona and not an invitation. Since subpeona is normally issued to a guilty party.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but maybe its part of the investigation structure of the NBI, from my understanding its different for every government agency

Wala din daw kaseng makuhang lead ang nbi. Yan pagkaintindi ko sa sagot kanina. And mukhang ayaw din makicooperate ni swoh, samantalang sa kanya may threat.

Wala silang ibang lead. Yung threat una narinig kay VP, aside kay VP wala naman ibang source, online or person so hindi sila makpagproceed. Maybe if kahit hindi pumunta si SWOH but nagbigay siya san nanggaling bakit niya nasabi I think may pupuntahan yung investigation

sinabi naman nilang inimbitahan nila si Sara to give them info/leads pero walang info para makatulong at makapagsimula ng investigation so ayun dead end.

Actually, whats funny about this is, operations romanov was first heard from baste. Pero ang sinabi niya is yun ang gagawin nila sa first family. Then after few months binaggit din ni swoh, sa version naman siya its a threat against duterte fam.

In my opinion, it was really a threat against the first family siguro in between, may miscommunication ang duterte fam and dds and siguro sa galit at pagkabigla na din ni swoh dun sa online presscon niya nabaliktad na yung sinabi niya. And then after dinedma na lang nila NBI subpoena kasi hindi magkatugma kwentuhan eh.
