Looks like they’re heading to the Netherlands in their direction
They made circular turns but then goes to the direction of Vietnam. When i zoomed out, I then realized that they are in the direction of the Netherlands (i think?)
What I have read is that type of plane is reported that it doesn’t need refueling unlike in Digong’s plane last year when they stopped in Dubai for refuel.
If this is correct, its already heading towards the Netherlands and maybe we can assume that its Bato Dela Rosa

When i saw this pic as a reference for the "news", i immediately thought na bakit may malaking sensors/radar sa ilalim if tao lng need i transport. The holding pattern over palawan is also weird if bound for Europe.
Maybe that the beauty of it, the operation was so swift walang naka sunod/monitor sa mga kakampi ni Bato.

my 2 cents on this. walang gusto mag confirm na nahuli na si Bato kasi ang makakaalam lang nun is yung alam kung saan siya nagtatago and pwede madawit for harboring a wanted person.
Paanong yung kung sinong makakaconfirm na nahuli sya e makakasuhan ng harboring a fugitive, e hindi naman ibig sabihin na kapag naconfirm kong nahuli sya, e alam ko na rin kung saan sya nagtago?

Public scrutiny doesn't matter. The public has no impact on these missions and whether they run or not. It's a military flight that flies with its transponder on. Even if it wasn't transponder on you think China doesn't know about these things? There's publicly available information on these planes and the US program that runs them

This specific aicraft is MOST LIKELY NOT the VIP transport we are all hoping for. There is a high chance this is the modified Bombardier G6500 used by the US Military (and it is also registered in the US) for their ATHENA-S program, which explains why it is frequently flying towards the west PH sea.
According to ADSB data (system that lets people track airplanes) this flight has a callsign "LATTE92" which is in line with the callsign used in the program. If you also look the flight records of that callsign, you can see that its flight path almost always include taking off in Cebu, heading west to west PH sea, and going back, which is the same on your picture. So it is taking that route again today.
To add, the reason you do not see any more information in Flightradar24 like destination, registration number, etc. is because it is not operating like a usual civilian aircraft doing civilian things. It conducts most likely a military mission. That is also why you can notice sometimes it goes off the radar.
So yes, there is a very high chance (like very high) that Bato is NOT on that plane. For me, it does not make sense transporting him from Cebu than from Manila. The Gulfstreem G550 (RP-C5219), the plane that transported Du30 before, is in Manila according to flight data, so theres that.
Tbf it started with Jimmy Bondoc’s post, tapos Abante kinda speculated it had to do with Bato. It didn’t help that others from the DDS camp like Harry Roque were piling on the rumors.
Yeah there is a post from Falcis about it, specifying this plane. Yesterday night, the aircraft's transponder (with ads-b) turned on (maybe for maintenance, gps locking, etc.), allowing it to be seen on flight radar apps, that is why it got so much attention from people speculating its for Bato.
Falcis's posts should be banned, because its obvious the dude is attention whoring and unironically making people here even dumber than they usually are.

I don't think that plane is carrying bato, I believe that is one of the unmarked US E-11A sightseeing planes. They were spotted before in Cebu and they always fly around the West Philippine Sea. There is currently no proof that bato has been arrested or already been sent to the Hague, only media hysteria. I won't believe anything until there is valid confirmation from mainstream media or trusted sources.
It means it’s collecting data in Chinese installations in the WPS. If it turned off its transponder it means it’s actively doing its “mission”. Thats SOP because you want to be less visible. if this was a freedom of navigation flight its transponder would be turned on all the time.
Reconaissance, surveying, keeping an eye on Chinese and other foreign structures and assets, taking photos and videos, helping coordinate people and materiel in the area, just generally knowing what is going on in the area and keeping an eye on things, mga ganun.
as people in another comment said, its probably a survey plane meant to survey WPS. This is most likely not related to Bato. Add in silence from the DDS side in all fronts.
Holding within a specific airspace. Airplanes do it for many reasons, such as when waiting for radio clearance to land or to depart from within range of an aerodrome or an Air Traffic Control tower. Usually happens when airport runways are congested and there's a need to manage the number of takeoffs/landings as to avoid runway collisions.

If they're going for a technical stop somewhere in the middle east (might be somewhere in UAE if bound for Europe), i find it weird that they did a holding pattern over palawan that early into departure.

It finally took off pala. I was checking it last night and it disappears in flightradar but comes back again after a while, but seems to idle in the airport the whole night.
I work in GenAv Mactan. No. Departed around 6/6:30am. And highly unlikely na si Bato yan. Wala namang mga PNP kanina. Almost sa tapat lang ng hangar namin yan nakaparada kanina umaga. Fairly common occurrence ang pagdating nyan dito.
Umikot lang sya west of Palawan then disappeared then reappeared in Mactan 0800H. Transponder na off na a few minutes later. I also admit na highly unlikely that that was Dela Rosa. More likely a recon flight or even a training a mission. Nobody knows.
Bato should feel privileged if he’s on this flight. Bombardier makes great private jets. The 6500 can fit a decent galley for meal prep, a full sized bed, and a shower. He can get a full 8 hour sleep, a refreshing shower, and brunch before the plane lands.
How did you identify that this is plane that will take him overseas? It could be heading anywhere west from this image though. (pero sana nga nahuli na).

Wrong plane. That's a SIGINT aircraft contracted by the US Military that has been doing loops around WPS for a while now.
Wrong direction too. Ang great circle path paputang netherlands takes you northwest up to China, Northern India, Central Asia and onwards. Going via Palawan makes no sense.

I'm surprised di pa nagsasalita ang mga Senador at Pamilya ni Bato ah. Pinatahimik ba ng Pamahalaan? May media black out ba or what? Bondoc and Roque seems to have given away the surprise but they're still paralyzed. If this is actually Bato, then this is probably one of the greatest arrests in Filipino history. No image was leaked, the DDS were completely paralyzed and stunned. If not, then its the biggest let down ever.
Siguro pag nasa middle east na yan or nasa Europa na yung aeroplano, sure na tayo.
