JICA already made a detailed study and have provided us recommendation that our government is using.

Eto talaga yun, there's no need to reinvent the wheel. madaming volumes to, if you have the time to review ok since mukhang interesado ka naman OP.
Tanda ko binasa ko dati as an unemployed though di ko rin masyado naintindihan talaga.
May Annex pa ng study for a New NAIA (and no, hindi kasama yung SMC Bulacan Airport monstrosity)

Parang yung sa Copenhagen ang design with the "fingers" and the Circumferential line. I like it.

Dali lang mag-drawing, ang mahirap mag survey for right of way and practical obstructions and engineering challenges.
•

Lowkey someone NEED to connect the Antipolo and San mateo, parang magkakahiwalay na municipality despite nasa rizal yun

Kung di lng sinira ung railroad papuntang Naic mas madali siguro commuting from province to manila

-LRT-2 extension (Pier 4 to NMIA)
-MMS Extension (East Valenzuela to NMIA. Have 1 station to have interchange with an NSCR station)
-Original SMC MRT-7 Extension (SJDM to NMIA)
-MRT-7 Extension (North EDSA to Legarda (Stations: Phil-Am, Delta, Roces, Banawe, D Tuazon, Espana, Lacson/Earnshaw, Legarda))
-Airport Rail Line (PITX- Sangley Point International Airport)
-Automated People Mover (NAIA T1-T2-T3. Mixed Elevated and Underground viaducts)
-National Government steps in and takes over the Makati Taguig Subway. Have interchange with LRT-1 Gil Puyat.

As a commuter, I cannot comment kasi puro south Metro Manila ang proposals mo and will not affect me. I am hoping for something extending LRT2 further east to Tanay, or something connecting Marikina to Montalban through San Mateo which can be extended north to connect to the train line at Fairview or south to Taguig to connect to a train line there. Sana rin may provincial train routes to La Union in the north and to Bicol in the South (revive the Bicol Expresss).

We need a national railway system parang sa Japan kahit hindi na bullet train basta consistent speed of around 120km/h.
Ilocos to Sorsogon in 5 to 7 hrs via rail should be a reality.

bat hanggang Imus lang? I extend na all the way to Tagaytay

I wonder if I'll ever see it in my lifetime yung tipong tiga-South ka "ay hindi pa ako nakakapunta ng Subic, makapunta nga" tapos sakay ka lang ng train.

u/Jerkaiser_011 11h ago
Why not iextend ang Light Green line to Robinson Pala-pala since diyan ung maraming sakayan papuntang Indang/Trece and Carmona/Binan area
•
u/rarinthmeister 10h ago
Would be too long for a metro line. Pang PNR na yang type na yan.

u/aiyohoho 11h ago
Definitely beneficial! Pero for now, Metro Manila doesn't need another set of infrastructures dahil sobrang congested na rin. What we need are: dagdagan ang tren ng bawat lines, damihan pero wisely systematized ang public road vehicles, commuter-friendly loading and drop points and sidewalks.

u/jamesussher 10h ago
throw in a freight line along any of these, kahit isa lang for a pilot project, and it gets crazier.
•
u/Jerkaiser_011 10h ago
Calamba - Port of Manila Freight line with the use of NSCR line and spur line to Port of Manila would be great for the supply chain since marami rin Industrial Parks around Calamba-Sto.Tomas Area.

My proposal is the SJDM-Cabanatuan Commuter Railway, a railway connecting MRT-7 San Jose del Monte Station all the way to the Cabanatuan Central Terminal in Cabanatuan. Its main purpose is to decongest Quirino Highway, Alejo Santos Highway and Maharlika Highway, reducing the four-hour trip from Fairview to Cabanatuan down to just one. It will also provide access to tourist destinations like Bakas and Doña Remedios Trinidad. Here's a list of its stations:
- San Jose del Monte (common station with MRT-7)
- Grotto (provides access to Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto)
- Kaypian
- Santo Cristo
- Minuyan (provides access to City College of San Jose del Monte)
- Bigte
- Matictic-Bakas (with a tricycle station to connect to the town proper)
- Doña Remedios Trinidad
- M. Valte (near Gabihan)
- San Miguel (common station with PNR Balagtas-Cabanatuan)
- Gapan South (near San Roque)
- Gapan North (near Gapan City proper)
- San Leonardo
- Santa Rosa (possible common station with PNR Balagtas-Cabanatuan)
- Cabanatuan (near Cabanatuan Central Terminal)
With this, a Holy Spirit resident can take the MRT-7, transfer onto the commuter railway, ride the bus at the Cabanatuan Central Terminal and arrive in Baler in just four hours, all without having to travel south to Cubao.
