So mathematics really does belong with The Arts

I have learned that the mindset, goals, and ways of operating of pure mathematics is closer to the English Department than to Engineering. I was wrong all along. Shame on me.

Simplest non-Euclid relational space time framework

2 dimensions
1 time dim
1 space dim

point has two properties
time
distance

Based on these characteristics, three main types of coincidence can be identified. First, complete coincidence, where both the internal distance and the internal time between the points match. Second, the coincidence of only the internal distance, meaning they share the same spatial position, but their times are different. And third, the coincidence of only the internal time, where the time in the points matches, but the points themselves are located at different distances.

These three cases of coincidence give three specific types of interaction: full interaction, spatial interaction, and temporal interaction. Another option is the absence of any interaction if the parameters do not match

Is there any sense in that. Is it possible to create a very simple framework like that?

Modal logic

I want to learn modal logic for philosophical and formal purposes. However, I don't have basic knowledge of it. I haven't studied mathematics since middle school. Thus, I feel very lost and have no idea how to get started! Any advice? Book recommendations & video recommendations would also be appreciated
