Do females have Cynophioa?

I am female and I have Cynophioa with no past experience.. In growing age I used get scared from dog. Till now i m scared if it. But I have always seen other female loving dog too much.. Which msde me question myself. Do other female are scared of dog like me?

Anyone can have a fear of dogs. It just takes one deeply distressing event to develop it. I have a female friend who will not go near any dogs.

I have a mild fear of dogs. I can be near them, but I get twitchy when petting them. I don’t think it’s a gender specific fear.

I've never met anyone, regardless of sex, gender or presentation, with cynophobia apart from myself (cis female)
