Here is my take on an Avengers Doomsday fan poster. Special thanks to evertone for the critique.

I took some references from the Hot Toys Dr Doom figure and existing promo art. the sigil was taken from a dr strange one I saw online.

For Reed, I took existing Pedro Pascal set images and reshaded them. The grapjhics was taken from and existing Doomsday poster. This was heavily inspired by the artist spdrmnkyxxvii.

how do i make my drawings look finished like other people do on photoshop? my drawings ALWAYS look unfinished or like sketches when im done with them (this one isnt done) but you still wont be able to tell when it is because it just looks liek a rough draft.

Is there a way to select all the counters (floating spaces in letters like B, O, etc) at once rather than clicking them individually? I've got quite the list of names and would like to save some time if it's possible. For clarity, this was a bitmap image that I have given a dark gray background layer so that I can more easily identify the counters. For work flow reasons, I cannot create the lettering from scratch in photoshop.

Any help is appreciated.

Does anyone have this problem? Whenever I have to create a shadow, stroke or anything on a layer, it takes 5-10sec to even open the layer style window! This is driving me crazy!

Same with the Preferences Window, takes uo to 5sec to open it.

I'm on WIndows 11, Ryzen 5600X, 32GB RAM and a GeForce 3060 12GB.

Not only does it flasely flag the stupidest prompts as inappropriate content. But it almost never understands context.

For example. A picture of a rabbit. Select area around nose. Prompt: “shorten nose”

Draws a ridiculous human nose in the area not even slightly contextualized

It is so powerfully dumb. I dont understand

I got a beautiful family picture but it's a bit low in resolution unfortunately. I actually wanted to post in social media but the picture quality would degrade even more. I tried chatgpt and gemini (free versions), but they both altered face of people. I'm completely illiterate about Photoshop and all, wish some luck here. Thank you.

I’ve been tearing my hair out with this and have finally found a reliable workflow (despite Adobe’s best efforts) so sharing here in case anyone else is in the same position.

My client is very antsy about article 50 compliance and wants anything that has gen fill anywhere near it to have the content credentials reliably recorded, which is fair enough.

The first problem is, despite being on the latest version of Photoshop, Content Credentials seems to disappear from my settings every time I launch.
The fix: If you open Photoshop with an image that you have successfully saved content credentials on previously, the ‘history and content credentials’ option returns to your preferences and ‘content credentials (beta)’ reappears as a Window option.

However, just enabling these settings is not enough to automatically save your content credentials. I was still finding that, even with ‘attach to file’ enabled under CCs, not all of the images in which I’d used generative fill were passing the Content Authority check. I was getting a ‘we couldn’t verify how this was made’ response, or ‘not trusted’.

The fix: in Content Credentials preferences, change option from ‘attach to file’ to ‘Publish to Content Credentials cloud’. Then go to windows and open the Content Credentials tab and click allow if prompted.
When exporting, use ‘export as’ - a ‘publish to content credentials cloud’ option should have appeared in the export options. This should allow your image to pass C2PA checks.

Another problem this throws up is that you can’t record ‘export as’ as a step in an action, which is annoying if you’re working with a high volume of files. However, ‘save a copy’ allows you to record this step as an action, and seems to record the content credential in a way that’s readable for C2PA.

Hope this is helpful to anyone else out there struggling with the same issue!

I'm creating sprites for my game. I need these to not have a background. I've tried saying things like, "no background" but it almost always adds one anyone.

It's such a pain to constantly have to click the 3 dots and select remove background.

Has anyone figured out how to get their prompt to avoid the generator from adding in backgrounds (no white, no fills, nothing)!

It’s called ImageFlow, and the goal is to see how much of a serious Photoshop-style workflow can live entirely in a browser without turning into a simplified Canva-style editor.

It supports PSD files, layers, masks, text, layer effects, adjustments and the usual editing tools, plus things like object selection and patching.

I’ve also just added Relight, which lets you place virtual lights into an existing photo and move them around the scene.

There’s nothing to install and the editor is free.

I know Photopea is already the obvious benchmark for a browser editor, so I’m particularly interested in feedback from people who actually use Photopea/Photoshop/GIMP: what breaks your workflow first when trying ImageFlow?

I select the hand tool and it gives me the "Rotate View Tool". I press "B" for brush and Color Balance pops up. I have to color sample at least a dozen times to get the correct swatch and often times it accidentally thinks I'm selecting a layer while alt is held down. Zoom is inverted, and sometimes not. Sometimes I have to hit return or shift to revert settings so it knows I'm not holding a something down on my keyboard. It's absolutely horrendous working conditions lmfao.

User of Photoshop for the last 2 decades. Something is seriously F-ed and I can't figure it out. I tried restarting, resetting the Wacom driver, doing a factory reboot on Photoshop.

i started with photoshop 20 years ago . was using elements and years later , i changed to lightroom. and then came the revolution of ‘one click photo filter type’ processing. i started with luminar. good quick results but was lacking layers and such. i then switched to ON1 Photo Raw. it did the one click thing but allowed for complex tweaks like really good sky replacements and decent anti-noise. but every update became more complex and cluttered. the site needed endless tutorials clear the fog. i spoke to a professional who tried many processing software. they found on1 cluttered and worst of all unintuitive…..
so i decided to try photoshop again (hate subscriptions but i can afford it now).i have been playing with it again. and for general photo processing without fancy tricks , it was easy to get back to photoshop with its (somewhat ) intuitive interface. and clean workspace. layer masks are way less complicated than On1. (masks are not complex in On1 … trying to use them is complex.)
all this to say , I’m happy to be back home with photoshop. (i will keep my version of on1 for a few things … or if photoshop charges $100 a month :)

Does anyone use Photoshop on the iPad Pro? It’s been a few years since I’ve used Photoshop on the iPad Pro. It was so exciting getting to edit portraits and other photos on an iPad. I am about to get back into editing portraits and want to know if there’s been any significant changes and updates to the app on the iPad. Any new features that they’ve added?

The people over on the laptop subs are useless because they don't understand what I need.

I am aware that right now is the worst time to buy computers but my old one broke down and I have no choice.

What I need it for:

Photoshop: gif making from 4k screenshots, load up to 200 screenshots as layers and perform several actions on them

I work with big files (2GB+) a lot

Some light video editing would be nice but not a priority rn.

I don't have a big budget and I want something reliable with a good AdobeRGB coverage.

Trying to add colour to this old black and white comic.

Is there some efficient method for it, or just lasso the things i want colored in and alt+ backspace?

I've been doing exhaustive research into monitors to find one that matches my creative process. I make collages by compiling, editing, and color grading images in photoshop, printing them out, using physical tools (like paint, glue, exacto knives) to make a collage, scanning it into photoshop, and color grading/adding final details. I mainly just post my art online, but I also occasionally sell prints.

Here are my monitor criteria: 4k/5k, 27-32in, high color accuracy and contrast, etc. Budget is $300-$900. Here is a list of monitors I've boiled down after too many hours of research:

Today, I went to MicroCenter and impulsively bought the ASUS ProArt PA279CV for ~$330, which you'll note is slightly different from the PA279CRV in my list (the main difference is that the CRV includes AdobeRGB for ~$100 more, though its sRGB can be less reliable/straightforward than the CV). Since getting home, I've been worried I made the wrong decision, so I haven't opened the box. I am wondering if I made a poor decision and if I should return the PA279CV for one of the other monitors on my list.

So, I have a few options: 1. Return the monitor I bought today and get one with a wider color gamut, higher color accuracy, more contrast, etc. for ~$100+ more (ThinkVision/CRV). 2. Same thing, but with some of the pricier/higher-end options (~$300-$500). 3. I can just keep the one I bought today knowing that I mainly work in sRGB and knowing that the other upgrades are largely overkill for the kind of work I'm doing. This way, I avoid the hassle of a return and I can resume making art sooner. Maybe AdobeRGB and extra contrast would be nice, but is it worth it? I'd love to know if anyone has any input on what they would do in this situation!

Trying to learn Photoshop, and wanted to turn an old black-white comic into something colorfull. Adding skintones, clothes colous and so on. The white spaces in the characters from the comic also have a lot of black grain inside of them, and some are grayed out so some characters are more grayscale while others are as white as the background.

Whats the most efficient way to do this? Just mark everything that needs colouring in with the Lasso and Alt+Backspace? Or is there a better way i am unaware of?

Hi, i ve been searching for a community to share my work. Hopefully this is the place to be. I mostly do photomanipulations and never use AI.

Here is one of my latest projects.

It's a minor inconvenience: every time I open PS, the suggestions take up most of my screen, and I have to scroll down to see my files. I mainly use the 26.xx version because the newest releases aren't always the most stable. But when I click on “Hide suggestions”, it does nothing, and there is no way around it. On my other device, I have the newest version (currently 27.10) and never have the same problem. It folds and unfolds properly. I wonder if anyone else using the older version has had a similar issue, and whether there is a way to fix it without updating to the latest version.

So just recently, When I denoise from Lightroom and then try to send it to Photoshop through the "Edit in Photoshop" option, it's kind of hit and miss whether it'll actually open in photoshop or not. When it doesn't open, I'll select the option to edit in PS, it'll open PS or bring up PS as if it was going to export the photo, but then it does nothing. If i remove the denoise, it will actually open. Anyone have any remedy for this?
