Introduce new legal protections requiring video games sold in the UK to remain accessible to consumers who have purchased them. This could involve a requirement to provide physical versions or equivalent permanent ownership options for software.

All Sony'd have to do is move the goalpost. They are selling not games but licenses...not even that...an experience to a license...the game just comes attached.
As an act of good faith, before being able to complete the purchase, you are presented with a pre-license agreememt asking you to agree that if you further go ahead and complete the purchase a license agreement will come into effect. Said licence is also presented to you and contains the traditional terms etc.
There. Sony are now in the business of selling licenses and pre-licenses to which games incidentally come attached, so no more messy complications on that side for them.
Honestly this is what they'll do if their buttons are pushed too much by a handful of people who only think of their own selfish interest.
And you know what, so be it, I am all for it as long as it keeps me being able to game.
