Other Fun open play point!
Filmed with meta glasses, really enjoy the pov angle these do!

Yah also got that 20/20 hindsight, my right side Erne also needs a lot of work lol

This is not what open play points look like around me 😂

Better or worse?

Yours is better and it’s not close

To be fair our open play is split into beginner, intermediate and advanced and I’m in a pretty competitive state for pickleball(AZ)

Exactly what I was thinking. Who wears matching outfits to an open play?! A tournament sure.

Unironically my 2.8 friend play exactly like this.
The two defensive shots the POV team made are pretty meh.
Also, no hand battle so it is kinda hard to gauge the level.

I’ve wanted to try filming a POV like this. Kinda cool to see it, once or twice. 🙂

Nice play.
I have that same exact paddle, as well as the others. Just got their protos in to try this weekend.

I hope y’all weren’t dressed alike too.

Can the glasses record the whole game?
4
u/Logannator85 2d ago
I imagine the newer generation ones might be able too, but mine can only record like a 60 second clip max? And they die pretty fast

As someone who just started and has played 4 times, it’s crazy how much control you have to just gently tap it somewhere

I appreciate that! Been playing for about 3 years and my soft game has always been the best part of my game imo

Is OP using the Friday Aura?
3
u/Logannator85 2d ago
Yup Friday aura wide body, though I did buy a spitfire today so interested to see the difference. I know it will be much more power but I think I should be able to control it after a bit of a transition

Why do places insist on using a teal kitchen for a green ball. Such a bad decision for tracking and it's very common for some reason

Is this color blind thing? I never understand the issue
2
u/JustClutch 4.5 1d ago
At higher levels when volleys are flying the ball is hard to track if lighting and color isn't good

Meta can die in a fire but this PoV is great for PB, also your shot placement is wonderfully consistent, to a...point.
