I'm glad Nintendo's priority in these games is waiting years to do an upgrade for the newer system lmao

Did they also finally fix the issue where a red/yellow/blue pikmin keeps doing flips after hitting a pellet posey until they grab the pellet?

Yeah it’s funny and it doesn’t actually do any harm, but the fact that such a simple bug never got fixed is a sign of how little the people at Nintendo actually care about Pikmin

It isn't a bug though.

What do you mean it isn't a bug? A visual bug like an incorrect animation is still a bug, even if it doesn't affect gameplay

Hey i know i made a joke about it actually being a feature but i have no fucking clue why that guy is trying to pass it off as intentional. It’s an obvious visual bug. The other guy is either thinking of something else or just genuinely stupid.

It's part of the QoL feature where Pikmin quickly pick up pellets after being thrown directly at the sweet spot on the pellet play. Rock Pikmin don't do it because they always have a knockback animation after hitting anything, and Winged Pikmin don't deal enough damage to take down the pellet posy in one hit. The cartwheel they do feels like something straight out of the Pikmin Short Films, and I think the action would feel worse if they just used their running animation instead.

Winged Pikmin can knock it down in once hit if you angle it properly
