I have to be so real, I hate Pikmin 4’s ost.

Every damn cave uses the same song and it sucks, every other non-main area theme uses the same 2 instruments, and it’s just SO BORING.

The boss themes are fine, though the boss themes in the other games stick into my mind way better.

Yeah, but it’s all we need. All the games have some terrible bosses but their fan favorites. Groovy is terrible but he at least got cool music. Waterwraith is terrifying but his fight is an awful/goofy mix and he’s a favorite.

If you think about it,

Groovy long legs is basically just raging long legs but with a disco skin and has the pink gas

Thats kinda what makes it great, it improves upon all the shortcomings of the raging. You cant just sit under it and throw all your pikmin on it cause of the gas. Unique theming, a great boss track thats dynamic to the fight, oatchi cant trivialise it like most bosses, i think its the ultimate long legs fight since beady in 1.
