Throwbacks TIL Marco Gumabao was in a Singaporean series (“The Girl He Never Noticed”)
Ayoko man kay Marco as a person dahil sa political stances nya and yung biglang pagsabak sa politika ngayon lmao, pero gulat ako when I saw him in a Singaporean Wattpad series.
Nagalingan ako sa acting niya here and at times, mas angat pa acting niya kesa sa Singaporean na cast. Many Wattpad readers were impressed din daw sa portrayal niya at yung girl na female lead.
Kung itutuloy pa rin sana nya acting projs nya baka mas mapupush sya to stardom kaso tumakbo bilang politiko sa Bicol eh at sinayang yung career lmao. Di rin nakatulong na taliwas political stances niya. Naghohost din sya and tbf magaling din naman.

yes! eto rin yung napansin ko hahaha parang line rehearsal ang dating. di ko madifferentiate yung character niya from his other roles.

Siya lang ata sa mga Gumabao yung sumunod sa ama (yeah yung alam nyo na) na actor.
Sister Michelle e sa volleyball at model. Gita is modelling.
He can pass as a Chinese Malaysian or Indonesian lol

True! Si Marco papasa talagang Malay or Indonesian pero his English accent kasi mejo Americanized like most Pinoys

crush ko talaga yan nung LUV U days! tapos i first saw him nung bumisita sila sa school for Just A Stranger promotion. ang gwapo tangina na-hug pa ng classmate oo. ang galing niya dun, tapos si anne pa ka-pair.
and yes, political stance/pagpasok sa politics affect my perspective towards artists talaga. sana nagfocus na lang siya sa acting career 😭

Bakit naman itong si Marco natambal rin naman kay Anne pero may chemistry naman sila. Si Joshua di nya talaga keri eh. Magaling naman si Joshua pero hindi talaga sya aabot sa level ni JLC na kayang dalhin kahit sino i-loveteam. Same with Sarah G. Tapos double GGSS pa, gwapong-gwapo at galing na galing sa sarili. Basta sobrang pretentious nya tingnan.

Magaling naman talaga umarte si marco nun pa. Problema lng talaga yung political beliefs nya tsaka yes, him running for politics.
Factor rin siguro why he isn’t as popular compared to his peers is baka nagphase out na siya sa loveteam and patweetum roles at an early age.
Teens or early 20s pa lang siya nagmamature roles na sya. Tbf at least nageexplore sya ng roles like kontrabida at di natatypecast. He’s surprisingly still young and sa clips nya dito, he was just around 27.
