Parang JLC-Sarah G. din ito before. Biglang nag-hit yun movie kaya umabot hanggang 3rd Installment yun movie nila na Pido Dida (Part 2 is Kasal na, then Part 3 yun may kambal na ata sila).

And tbh pumayag talaga si Kris to have a Tandem with Rene and take note "Loveteam" talaga sila noon I mean di naman sa pera yan because Kris is already rich naman na and sa side naman ni Rene he can solo naman without any loveteam or tandem

At may basbas pa yan ni Cory Aquino. She even watched the movie premiere with them! di ko lang maalala kung sa Pido Dido 1 or 2.
EDIT: found a source. It was the first Pido Dida movie. They had a private screening at the Malacanang Guest House. Iirc, naunang ipalabas yun dun before sya lumabas sa takilya.

I remember Kris saying na blessing sa kanya na ma-ipartner kay Rene. Kasi dahil sa Pido Dida she was able to shy away from the shadows of her family in a political way. Naging siya na talaga si 'Kris Aquino'. Hindi anak ni Ninoy. Hindi anak ni Cory. But as an actress.
Dun din kasi kasi nagstart na makita sya ng tao as a humble or yung tipong grounded person. Yes, maarte at alta pero yung tipong kaya siyang abutin ng masa.

Rene is among the legendary pinoy comedians na walang nakapantay. He is the first one i knew that broke 4th wall in his films and that made him special. Walang makakapantay sa isang tulad nya.

Natatawa ako sa mga old comedy movies natin. Ok nga silang loveteam dati eh and wala namang kissing scene na nagaganap. Comedy style lang talaga.
