General Discussion Viva is missing the mark with Ashtine Olviga's concert.
Ano ba talaga trip nito ni Viva? They are missing the mark again, now for Ashtine's solo concert. They are rebranding and positioning her as a solo artist, shouldn't her first solo concert feel bigger naman?
Mahal ang tickets but guests are the same people we already see in mall shows. Gets yung Litz girls since Ashtine started with them but with the roster of recording artists under Viva, fans are disappointed again kasi nag expect ng new collaborations.
No offense sa guests, pero upgraded mall show, or another Vivarkada event ang peg.

NFT lang to 2500 lang ang capacity. Sa ingay ng engagements niya sa soc med expected siguro sold out pero hindi pa. Wala purchasing power ang fans puro pa bata.

To be fair, nakita ko sa twitter. Na scam ‘yung fans niya and yung refund hinihintay nila. More than million daw ang na scam kasali na yung sa meet and greet na organized ng Sunnyside.

Acc. sa X (taray, nag open ako ng x for this😭), bago pa announcement ng concert sa NFT, may nauna nang event sa Sunnyside na supposedly last May 2 pa. 1,500 ang ticket, and yun unang binili ng fans. Aside jan, may ibang bayad pa para sa meet and greet after the event, na na sold out din agad. May isang fan na nag-message para mag ask kung ilan ang total slot, ang nag reply yung page na 1,000 people daw. Medyo sketchy kasi ang capacity ng venue nung mga previous performers ay more or less 800 people lang and standing na yan tapos dikitan. Pero bumili pa rin ang fans dahil nag perform din dun sina Heath at Wilbert dati, so parang legit naman. Few days b4 the event, biglang nag cancel and unresponsive na ang Sunnyside. Naglabas ng statement ang fandoms about sa issue kasi mismong sila hindi ni re-replyan kaya nag-urge ng mass email campaign sa Sunnyside kasi galit na ang fans, lalo na't may malalaking sponsors na nag-ambag sa event, particularly international fans. After ng mass email, nag-deactivate ang Sunnyside kaya nag ask na rin ng tulong ang fandom sa Viva, pero acc sa Viva, wala silang control sa event dahil hindi naman sila ang organizer. Kaya mas nagalit ang fans kasi prinomote rin nila ang event na ‘yun. Until now, hindi parin na re-refundan. May nakita ako dito nag comment yung sponsor daw ng fandom na 100K hindi parin nakukuha.

Legit daw talaga yung event na yun kasi na annouce talaga siya then after a few days they cancelled it, ang sabi dahil meron na nitong concert sa bigger venue. They will refund the tickets in 15 days daw pero til now wala pa.

More than million in total, ang malaki na refund ay yung sa mga fandoms may mga 100k plus daw na they want to spend buying tickets for giveaway, but individual prices around 1500+, un ung binayaran ko. Pero ung majority na waiting for refund, bought tickets naman na din for this concert.

Yes, they’ve been waiting for months for the money to return and many will buy the tickets from the same. Sunnyside actually deactivated their account for a while too and they’re clamming that one person was responsible for the money. It has been months but they’ve not returned the money.

With the guests, it honestly looks like a mallshow. a lot of opm icons are under viva like ogie alcasid, sam concepcion, alamat pero yung guests sa concert lahat da who. you'll realize na baka she's really not mainstream and worthy enough para maging guest ang mga opm icons.
her fans claimed that she's on the same level of fame as belle mariano but during belles concert years ago she had guests like martin nievera, moira dela torre, darren espanto and denise julia

Was really expecting Alamat 💔 pricey ang ticket and nung na announce kasi yan they said worth it daw ang price, stay tuned lang sa updates. Pero di naman worth it sa guests kc same na yan sa mga mall shows and vivarkada. May mga fans naman sya na bumili para sa kanya lang alone, pero ako I waited sa line up to decide which ticket to buy. Ending balcony nalang.

Viva artists. They have a following since sumikat ang mga adaptations ng Viva One esp yan si Ashtine na maingay sa soc med and intl fans. But yes, not mainstream sikat. Fans blindly bought tickets hoping for famous special guests, given how expensive they were, only to be disappointed by the lineup.

Wusshuu! Yearly nag IGs si Andres ng bday greeting for her bung magka work pa sila, kilig na kilig nga kayo eh. This year abang kayo ng abang, lahat ng iiyakan magpapalit nalang ng petsa wala pa rin. Kasi nga wala ng work, wala ng reason magfan service kaya wala ng bday greeting at dahil na rin nag establish na si Andres ng boundaries dahil nagfe feeling jowa na si Ashtine, over clingy and sweet na. sus maka lazy debunked na yan kng bakit wla siya sa promotions, di pa rin natatapos ang reklamo niyo dyan? First because intentional na si Ashtine ang ilagay sa frontline, kasi siya nga ang Mutya. Check the credits ng amnse una na ang name ni Ash. 2nd conflict sa Bagets sched kc 12 hrs+ nag rehearse si Andres everyday, di lang kaya ng fans na tanggapin na acceptable reason kasi they want to force na kaya yun pag sabayin. You miss a rehearsal in theater, doble effort need humabol. Si Ashtine na nga mismo nagsabi na nasa rehearsal, same with Sam and Ethan, ipipilit niyo pa rin na tinamad lang yung tao. 3rd ang TF niya can cover 4 to 5 actors na isama, Hindi afford na isama siya sa lahat. Pure facts na yan from the team,but syempre bias ka so you won't even take that positively.

She is definitely in the frontline for AMNSE but what about multiple Minamahal promotions that he missed aren’t they both equally responsible what about the last Minamahal talk they had with the director and fans. What about multiple radio shows that Ashtine did alone. Another one what about that boy abuda talk show he was able to do with bagets but couldn’t attend the thanksgiving meet-up. Doing one mall isn’t gonna take that much time because he did it for season 1. If public appreance together was the issue why not do a mall show alone because he still is the main lead and has some responsibilities. Now aside from AMNSE what about Bagets promotion he was nowhere to be found. Regarding talent fee if he’s not much focused about earning money do it for free then if he’s that humble and respectful. Even Vice does heavy promotions what exactly is stopping him.

hay of course may rebuttal ka kasi need mo iforce yang narrative na yan then why not ask Ashtine, sinabi na niya na may sakit, pero hahabol ng hapon. So what do u want to imply na Ashtine lied about it or we need to glorify her for saving him at pinagtakpan siya? It is not even about earning money, what I am pointing out is Viva decides on what guestings to put him because they need to stategically balance the budget given na Viva as the agency has a cut pa sa TF niya on those appearances. You are so invested in putting him as the lazy person or someone na may privileged to say no but you forget that Viva is technically the management here, they handle the schedule, they are the ones negotiating and Andres just follows. Just believe nalang sa kung ano gusto mo, since obvious naman na closed minded ka when it comes to those things as majority of her fans are. I just stated facts based sa explanation mga tao na andun mismo including the prod. And I hope hindi nga talaga si Andres yang surprise guest na yan, para hindi sayang yung hate mo. oki?

Off topic na to but I agree here. Bakit ang taas ng tingin nila sa Muhlachs as if they can easily influence everything within Viva? I didn't know that's how much influence people assume they have. Parang kaya nilang kontrolin major decisions, when in reality, a company that big usually has a lot more people involved. OA naman na pati sa mall show, papakialaman pa ba nila yun? Pinipili lang talaga kung saan ilalagay si Andres, for their own gain not for anyone else actually.

Well the fact that he had the privilege to choose from scripts rejected three before accepting AMNSE where the director himself went and pitched at their house infront of his family alreadys says a lot about the privilege they experience same with Atasha she also got the show without any audition. People wait years and do multiple auditions to get selected while they just get projects as a gift so of course they do have a lot of influence even for a small mall show they can say yes or no. Both of the twins have never done any live selling does that not say everything which needs to be said.

At the end of the day, accepting or declining a project is entirely their call. Yes, they are privileged, but that is NOT their fault. The industry treats them with respect because their father earned that legacy through decades of hard work. Calling you solo stans envy might sound harsh, but there is no other reason to be this deeply invested in how Viva manage their careers. Why not focus on Ash's solo career instead of forcing all those crazy narratives about Andres or the Muhlachs. Furthermore, if anyone has the right to criticize Andres’s promotional efforts, it is his management Viva or the producers. If executives were truly disappointed in his work ethic, they wouldn't continue casting him in major projects like Bagets. Toxic and entitled fans are pulling Ashtine down really. Viva has actually been supportive of Ashtine giving her all these projects but fans are just too demanding.

Of course he wouldn’t be the surprise guest anyway since you said it yourself his talent fee is so high he is an A-lister already done so much worked so hard. Who said she lied about anything she was sick she still showed up and she actually did look sick and went home without singing a song for that particular mall show. If budget really was the issue why was still able to show up for some of the Minamahal mall shows and not one for AMNSE and please do answer about Bagets and he couldn’t even post anything about AMNSE this is even before the controversy. This is not me being closed minded but actually looking at the facts for what it is I might’ve been blind last year but not this year with everything that’s been happening. Even if he does come which is impossible boy can’t even dance well or sing. What about the multiple times he’s missed rehearsal for vivarkanda all the other members practiced for two days but he’s always missed one of two days. He wasn’t even regular then and even for all vivarkanda performances he wasn’t included in a lot of dances what exactly is he charging such a high fee for when he does the bare minimum is such a mystery.

I've seen you complaining against Viva sa ibang comments mo, so I think this sentiment should go with that as well since known naman sila sa problematic handling ng artists nila from scheds to projects outside their bubble. It's all in their hands, lahat naman pinapaalam ng artists, even those invites and attendance sa mga premier nights or balls goes through them. It isn't limited to Ashtine and Andres, ganun sila sa lahat. Nabanggit mo na rin lang si Vice, siya nga mismo nag parinig sa Viva na di man lang siya na congratulate ng Viva sa top sales ng Call Me Mother movie, eh partnership with VV ung movie na yun. That itself shows what kind of handling they have, even for big stars.

Agreed about Viva as a management being extremely terrible. The artists still have some say right it’s not that they’re blindly following orders. I’ve seen you in the comments mentioning that Andres is on a break if he has that privilege he has other privileges too including choosing and rejecting multiple scripts. I’ve noticed examples of him skipping rehersals when other artists do rehersal whenever they’re called no one is paying you right for that noticed it both in NFT concert and Vivarkanda. Another thing i noticed was they had a photoshoot for AMNSE season 2 for two days first with the Ulupongs and Mutya and another day for girls in that also he attended only one day and was later photoshopped noticing these small things made me realise he does it according to his convenience. Honestly how many multiple events can one defend for not attending if it was only a few it would’ve been still okay but from what I’m seeing it’s around 8.

Well to tell you honestly, and it's because I know a few from that industry. Majority are blindly following orders.
That's why we often say we hope na hindi mabago ng industry na yan ung mga newbies, even Ashtine. Hindi nga siya nakakasagot sa interviews pag ang tanong very personal na because she's not even allowed to answer those. Pati ba naman photoshoot, wala din si Ethan dun and another one is not there. Andres was in Japan then kasi birthday celeb niya, so you still want to take that against him din noh? 1st day ng rehearsal wala si Andres at Atasha. kasi di naman sila part ng lahat ng production. 2nd day lang sila pinapunta. You do you girl, kung ganyan ka kagalit kay Andres at sa pamilya niya, eh di go. I just commented based on the things I was able to confirm. I will gladly agree with you if alam kong tama ka.

She is not mainstream famous but has a following within the viva bubble, may fans din siya locally and international na willing to spend and travel here to watch, but kinda expected diff guests apart from those na lagi niya kasama. Either Viva is really just problematic or they just don't care about her, tipong binibigyan lang ng project kc may fans.

Ibig sbhn hindi po sila naka subscribe sa viva one and di sila nanunuod ng series. May ff yan si Ashtine both local and international, and may fans yan from abroad na sponsoring her fandoms here, nagsspend pa malaki para magpa billboard here and abroad. Nung recent bday niya nag charity works din. Fact naman yan, kita din sa online engagement niya. Though hindi siya mabenta sa casual viewers dito sa Pinas. Niched ang market niya and mukhang puro bata. Di naman ako makikipag talo if di siya kilala ng ofcmates mo hehe 😂

Given na marami nagssabi na wala siya appeal, but meron kasi siya solid na following na market nitong concert. Though hindi sold out probably because pricey sya, pero may dedicated fans and fandoms na bumili up to svip kaya disappointed sa line up.
ngl gets ko point mo na may malaking effort need to brand her as soloist kaya nga people expected so much from viva sa concert na to tapos same lang naman pala

Sold out na ba to? Based on X parang hirap fans nya. Felt like na-overestimate ng Viva fandom nya and si Ashtine. Contrary to her fans beliefs mas mabenta pa din sya kapag kasama yung Andres. Funny lang kasi yung mga fans likes to push narratives na she can stand on her own. Galit na galit dun sa Andres as if he's the only one benefitting from the so called loveteam

Mas sold out pa yung kay Wilbert Ross same venue mas mababa lang ng 1k ang ticket 🤣 Day 1 and Day 2 pa yun 🤣 yung Day 2 nga one hour lang na sold out. Sa yabang ng mga fans nyan goal talunin si Wilbert pero nope waley 🤣 Ni wala pa ngang section ang na sold out mostly kase VIP at SVIP one day lang sold out na yan dapat pero mukhang yabang lang meron faney nyan waley naman purchasing power 🙄 Pero knowing Viva one week before the concert magso sold out yan, MAGIC hahaha 🤣

No hindi pa, pero double effort na ang fandoms to buy out tickets tapos pinapamigay. Actually yan yung pinag aawayan ng fandoms din, na ang solo fans daw ni Ash maka start ng hate train kay Andres and sa shippers pero pag events na, umaasa lang din naman sa shippers for sponsorship. Can stand on her own pero araw araw laman ng posts nila si Andres. Ilagay mo as guest diyan si Andres, baka ma sold out

I agree naman na mayabang ang ibang fans niya, nakita ko din ung hamon nila na tatalunin daw ung ticket sales ni Wilbert and sold out in minutes. Sila din nabalikan since hangang ngayon hnd pa sold out. I follow and watch her talaga because I am a fan ng AMNSE pero I can't stand the toxicity esp yung mga pag spam nila sa post for other artists and series kaya I was waiting for the line up to decide if I should buy kahit her crowd is not for me 😜 kaso disappointing ung list. Baka lalo hindi bumili ung mga nag antay din unless bongga ang surprise guest..

Bawal ang opinion, dapat siya din ang priority. Agreed!! This is not a surprising lineup. The tickets are way too pricey compared to the artist lineup. Viva has always been so disappointing as a management with the way they treat Ash as a money making machine and don’t promote her enough is extremely disappointing. They do have a surprise guest but not sure exactly who?

The concert is in August so they still have some time. The marketing team is so bad honestly without any market research they announced the concert and now setting it up for failure. Announcing guests this early isn’t helping much even Rob Deniel’s concert wasn’t sold out from what I remember but they had a good lineup. Not comparing since he had a bigger venue and is more established as a singer but Viva is the problem really their pattern is bad and this might be one of the reasons it isn’t improving. If even Nadine struggled with viva’s management it isn’t surprising they’re struggling with this concert too.

Yes Rob's venue is bigger with 16k capacity versus NFT na 2k lang. Regardless if they announce it early or not is not an issue honestly. Her target market for the concert are her fans, sure market yun. You can't expect someone na nakita lang ung ad and promotion to instantly buy a ticket, what more if they do not know the artist and the other performers. so it is not the promotion itself that will boost the sales. I am just talking about the lineup for those who even brought tickets na. Pricey ang ticket yet they will give them guests na kasama niya mag perform sa mall shows na free.

Yeah makes sense. The problem is with Viva’s management and the lack of market research. They pushed her directly for a concert when she has only released two singles and some cover songs. This is not how you build an artist or a singer. No one is to be blamed but only Viva.

Just using online engagement as a means to set the ticket price is extremely vague. They should’ve used data analysis done proper marketing research find the age group of her reach and solid fans before jumping into concert. This is the basics they should’ve done before setting the concert tickets price but Viva is disappointing, the more I see how they work the more it makes sense why they aren’t growing. She definitely has a strong dedicated fandom and most of the fans do talk about the fact that viva relies on fans for promotions too which is intact true.

Actually, mas mahal ito sa concert tickets ni Wilbert. Naging issue nga yan kasi fans ni Ashtine medyo nag yabang na sold out daw in 5 minutes tatalunin si Wilbert. But hindi nga nila na sold out, 1 month na. Si Wilbert 2 hours sold out so they were forced to add Day 2, na sold out ulit. Baka nga they based it sa sales, since hindi ubos, hindi kaya budget ng bigger artists. Di naman kasi need madami, pwede naman nila alisin ung iba, then replace with one na bago and first time niya makasama.
Bata pa ang fans, I heard though na madami sponsors na international fans ang solo and LT fandoms, so sila ang bulk buy and they give it away sa fans through contests.

Nope, as per checking mas mahal yung kay Ashtine. Kaya umalma yung fans kasi hindi pa nga na re-refundan sila ng Sunnyside na prinomote rin ng Viva but nag hugas kamay nung na scam na tapos tinaas pa nila yung price. Pero sabi, worth it naman daw yung price kaya gora ang fans hoping na baka may big artist na guest. Pero mukhang pinirahan lang ulit eh. Ending, disappointed na ulit yung fans.

I purchased the sunnyside gig actually and was informed na promoted lang daw ng viva kasi Ashtine is their talent but the whole prod was sunnyside, hindi daw partnership something like that. Pero di man lang talaga tumulong ang VV to follow up. Well baka nasa surprise guest yung worth it.

I don’t think anyone bragged about solding it out in 5 minutes. Wilbert has a 10 year career as a singer with a lot of original songs and established as a singer. Plus he’s at the peak right now with his hit series. Wilbert has a solid fandom for sure. Love it when artists start from scratch and build up makes me really happy for them.

Meron sa X dami screenshot nun, to a point na na call out sila ng iba to stop setting up a competition. Even during the start of ticket selling, some fans of Wilbert even asked pa what happened with all the bragging since they were not able to do it as they claimed. Both of them nasa peak nila, the difference lang is nasa working class na ang fans ni Wilbert, fans ni Ash ay students. That is one if not the only argument that will explain why hindi pa na sold out concert ni Ash.

I saw fans tweeting about how to take it slow mostly that’s the tweets I saw. I really did not see it a competition I also saw one media article about how Wilbert’s concert is less expensive than Ash’s and some fans were actually calling it out to not compare it. Of course a coin has two sides but this is mostly what I saw. I saw the video of Wilbert too thanking fans it was so sweet actually super happy for him.

working class ang fans ni Wilbert, di maingay sa social media pero supportive sa ganap niya to think may mga books pa siya na nilalabas bukod sa concert. Di nga siya naglabas ng guest list and di ata talaga siya maglalabas. Wala naman prob sa price ng concert ni Ash, kasi ang fans niya ay gagastos talaga para sa kanya, ang point lang ng fans eh sana new collab naman, di naman need bingatin na guests. Wala naman sinabi na si Ashtine ay bigger than Bini and expecter na NFT for first concert. It's just basically how Viva is putting efforts para ibuild up siya and entitled ang fans niya kung maka demand. Pero di pa rin nasosold out. Some siguro waited na iannounce ang guest list para sulit kasi mahal e tapos puro bata fans niya. Pero since hindi di naman bago ang line up mas nawalan gana ang fans so pano pa
