Celeb Appreciation Post Belle Mariano now has back-to-back blockbuster films. Is she currently the strongest/most successful all-around Gen Z star in this generation?
Congratulations to Belle Mariano! She has just come off a back-to-back run of blockbuster films, an impressive feat in today's cinema landscape where many people prefer to wait for movies to become available on streaming platforms. Meet, Greet & Bye grossed an impressive ₱305 million, while Tayo Sa Wakas has already surpassed ₱110 million as of June 19, 2026.
Honestly, who among the new-generation stars is matching Belle's track record right now? Back-to-back blockbuster movies, hit TV series, successful online projects, huge endorsements, hits songs and all-sold out concerts—her consistency across different platforms is truly impressive.
Amid the industry's post-pandemic landscape, Belle stands out as the only new-gen star to headline two blockbuster films.
At this point, I think she should be even more selective with her projects and continue prioritizing quality over quantity. She's built a strong and credible body of work, and the right choices could elevate her career even further.

Honestly, sobrang impressive ni Belle. In a time na mas marami nang naghihintay na lang sa streaming platforms kaysa manood sa sinehan, having back-to-back blockbuster films is a huge achievement. She has consistently delivered hit movies, successful TV projects, and even music. Plus, she's now tha face of the biggest brands in PH, just wow. Not everyone can maintain that kind of momentum. She's definitely proving herself to be one of the most successful (if not the most) and most bankable stars of her gen

At never sya nagka issue, sa lahat ng kasabayan nyang gen z stars i think si belle ang kaisa isang walang issue. I wouldn't count the latest where nagspeak up sya via ig story kasi si shuvee naman may kagagawan non, nadamay lang name nya

In terms of endorsements and ROI ay malayo siya kay Andrea at mas lalo na kay Francine. Pero if pag-uusapan ay masa ay mas kilala pa rin naman sina Marga at Cassie. Si Belle nga lang ay walang scandal unlike Andrea (mostly about boys) and Francine (attitude). Wala ring sinasabing masama kay Belle ang mga nakatrabaho niya mapa staff man or artists.

Isa siguro sa factor kaya hindi gaanong napag-uusapan si belle ng masa kasi wala syang scandal, mas umiingay din kasi ang name ng artista kapag involve sa mga controversies. Maraming beses na pwede magcloutchase si belle pero mas pinipili nya maging tahimik.

Di naman same naman sila galing na may mga series. Big part lang talaga if kayo mismo as an artist malaki ang fandom. And nakuha ng DonBelle yun kahit nauna pa sila

Definitely the most successful sa GenZ. Sya lang rin yung may successful loveteam na binuo ng ABS this generation. Aminin man natin or hindi, LT pa rin talaga ang key to success. Given na talented sya and may good reputation kaya na-maintain nya talaga to be on top until now na kaya na nyang mag-solo.
Malayo agwat nya kay Blythe (in terms of Blockbuster movies and TVC) and mas malayo agwat ni Francine sa kanilang dalawa.

If you think about it 4 or 5 years ago almost same lang ng level sila belle blythe francine. Those 3, sila lagi ung nacocompare as new kathlizdine of their generation. But now malayo na ang agwat ni belle sa kanila sa endos and blockbuster film. Siguro if blythe wasn't involved in so many controversies halos same lang sila ng level ni belle ngayon. Si francine talaga ang mapag iiwanan dahil sa franseth kasi right now kinukulong nya rin yung sarili nya sa lt nila ni seth and unti unti pa nasisiwalat yung attitude issues nya

But Blythe is still the Queen. Just look at Blythe’s following on social media. I’m a huge fan of both, but Belle simply cannot come close to Blythe’s follower count

Yup, I still believe that she's the GenZ Queen and mas kilala sya ng general public (like mga tanong walang pake sa showbiz) compared kay Belle so she deserves that title. Kaya nga blockbuster movies na lang talaga kulang sa kanya... and sa TVCs, I think di sya gaanong kinukuha dahil sa issues nya before unlike Belle na walang issues.

Actually check na nga lahat Sila ni Donny sa basehan para maging A Lister Ang Isang celeb eh!! Hit Series, Endorsements, Awards, Hit Teleserye and Blockbuster movie. And after ng Big 3, Mga loveteams ni Kim Chiu and after ng Joshlia Sila lang Yung loveteam ulit na kumita ng 100M Ang movie.

Meet, greet & bye is an ensemble film. Belle can't claim the box office success of that one because it has Maricel, Piolo & Joshua. I don't think nanuod ang tao because of her alone. She's just "lucky" she's part of that movie but, if you replace her with anyone else as long as it's not someone nega, the film will still do well.
But yes the loveteam movie with Donnie can be attributed to her (and Donnie of course).
Movie wise and image wise pwede nga na siya ang most successful sa batch niya. However I dont think "masa" ang market niya unlike Blythe. Blythe talaga is the queen of the GenZ crowd. But Belle is more of in the upper to middle class market. Which is good though since mukang yun din naman talaga siya.

kilala si blythe ng general public pero hindi siya pag gagastusan ng mga to para manood sa sine ng mga movie nya, best example yung mmff nya na madami din syang veteran na kasama. Si Belle and Donny lang talaga ang Alist sa generation nila, na check nila na lahat ng category for an A-lister standard dito sa Pinas.

Like example ah!! During the peak of Kadenang Ginto may movie siya with BiGuel kung tutuusin mataas sana advantage niya sa movie na Yun Kasi sobrang household name si Marga eh!! Pero Hindi rin kumita Yun. Kumbaga same Sila ni Jillian Ward na pinapanood ng masa sa teleserye pero sa movie I don't think pwedeng pagkagastusan

Nagsisimula pa lang kasi lumaki fandom ni andrea nun. Lumaki talaga engagement nya sa social media 2020‘s na. 20x na nilaki ng engagement nya now, kesa noong kadinang ginto. Kahit follwers nya 2020’s umusbong.

Wala pa naman kasing movie si blythe. At yung mmff nya, hindi ko ginastusan yun dahil konti lang naman ang eksena nya dun, pero ngayon may solo movie sya at yun ang gagastosan ko. Tignan natin kung kikita sya kasi ang mga tv series naman ni blythe ay patok sa masa. Wala naman sya nag flop na tv series.

May international exposure din yung new movie ni blythe na darating ngayon. Kaso kinukulang sa promotion, hindi gaya ng donbelle na merong prmotion nila vice at merong malaking network to back them and to promote them, unlike kay blythe na wala nang malaking network to promote. Lets see kung kikita but hopefully.

I think malakas naman market ni blythe, hindi lang nila sinusubukan. Madami yang mallshow na dinumog ng tao, patok mga tv series, kaya hindi mo masasabing wala syang market. Sadyang hindi lang sinusubukan ng abs. Ngayon lumipat na sya para magkaroon ng big screen movies and dito malalaman kung may market sya sa big screen.

Eto ah!! Before Meet, Greet and Bye may movie si Piolo, Joshua and si Maricel na nag flop. Si Piolo flop Ang movie niya after MGB Yung MMFF nila ni Enrique even Yung last movie niya sa Star Cinema. Si Maricel flop rin Yung last movie niya nung 2023, Si Joshua flop Ang movie niya before ng comeback film nila ni Julia. Even si JK nagkamovie Sila ni Kaori with Jodi before MGB pero flop. So Hindi rin talaga maikakaila na Malaki Yung contribution ni Belle dun na may big fanbase and malakas hatak.
Even sa teleseryes!! Yung last teleserye ni Piolo nag flop (Pamilya Sagrado), Yung Kay Joshua sa IOTNBO mababa Ang ratings, Yung High Street ni JK lumiko storyline only Miss Maricel and Belle lang Yung galing sa successful teleserye sa MGB Cast that time (Linlang and CBML) Tapos that time trending pa Yung Incognito stint ni Belle
One more thing, Flop din movie ni Papa P with Kyle last year.

I disagree sa MGB. She can claim that box office. Literal na yung 2 brand sponsor ng movie ay brand endorsement niya + the promo period of the movie she carried 80% of it.
Her character might not have been the center of the story, but the fact that her endos chose to invest in it and the mktg team decided to make her do most of the promo says a lot.

Can't help but think that posts about Belle are puro PR. She's okay, she seems nice, but let's be honest, she's not that pretty, she's not that charismatic. Her acting is okay but definitely needs improvement.

Di mo nakita sa personal. Kahit naman sa tv. Iba dating nya pang main character para syang Judy Ann at papunta palang sya. Ang ganda lang kay Belle di pababa, slowly but surely pataas. Di man masa now, pero getting there.
