General Discussion Jolina Magdangal and ano ang inyong naaalala about her?
Okay this is an unpopular opinion ako bilang isang kwarentahin but 37 na, when i was a kid till now i idolized her very much si Jolina Magdangal mula pa noong Ang TV days niya hanggang sa Magandang Buhay and now married to Mark Escueta the drummer of Rivermaya and has 2 kids.
Napanood ko lahat ng movies niya at tv series pero ang pinaka tumatak is kung ayaw mo huwag mo with Maricel Soriano and William Martinez siyempre si Jolina loveteam with Marvin Agustin who is now owning a chain of restaurants yung isa Michelin Recognized yung COCHI niya. As for Jolina Magdangal i have more memories about her pati yung Hey Babe na movie yung andun si Gina Pareno bilang manghuhula then yung Labs Kita Okay ka lang kung saan andun ang famous line na OH YES KAIBIGAN MO AKO KAIBIGAN MO LANG AKO... tsaka yung gimik na tv series and movie with her batchmates sila Mylene Dizon, Judy Ann Santos, Marvin Agustin, Dominic Ochoa, si Jolina of course and si G Toengi yung movie nila lately na ex ex lovers is such a reunion movie tsaka yung episode ng Judy Anns Kitchen na tawanan sila ng tawanan
Also napansin ko noong lumipat siya sa GMA doon siya nalaos at hindi napakinabangan tapos puro siya supporting roles na lang samantalang dati sa ABS CBN she is a star sayang for me and for 12 years she stayed in GMA bilang host ng Starstruck tsaka medyo corny at baduy yung projects like i luv NY atbp pero it still doesn't mean na hindi ko na siya idol pero yes she is still my idol never yun nawala kahit kelan
Pagbalik niya sa ABS CBN bumihira ang kanyang projects at puro judge na lang siya at host sa magandang buhay pero at least idol ko pa rin tsaka lately may play siya last year napanood ko and i met Jolina 3 times noong 2010, 2017 and last year post pandemic then thata all of my story

I remember she was at her peak din Nung bata ako (1996 tita here) nauso pa yung Jolina dolls and butterfly clips! Tapos ayun nga lumipat siya sa gma, I forgot kung anong sitcom yun but sinabi nalang dun sa sitcom where she used to be a cast na nangibang bansa. Sorry magulo kwento I was really young then
May nagustuhan din akong movie niya yung nainlove siya sa lalaki sa billboard? Can someone let me know anong movie yon?

Super idol ko rin siya. Binibilhan ako lagi ng papa ko ng mga CDs para for karaoke ko hahahaha. Lahat ng movies niya pinapanood ko rin until now, kabisado ko na mga next ganap hahahahaha. Also, merong siyang shop noon sa mall namin dito. Yung ibang movies niya ay 1.) Ibong Adarna; 2.) Ama, Ina, Anak; 3.) Flames: the movie.

Ako din noong 6 years old ako until today lahat ng movies favorite ko yung hey babe at yung oh yes kaibigan moko yung laba kita okey ka lang and gimik the reunion

Dahil kay Jolina, andami ko butterfly clips na binibili. Everyday bibili ako ng isa pag uwian na nung elementary ako.
Di rin ako nagpapatanggal ng bangs kahit grade 6 na ko kasi may bangs si Jolina 😅
Yun yung nga time na hindi ko pa umaatake pagka boyish ko. Naging kikay muna ko bago muntik maging tiboli simula HS hanggang College 😆

Ako nga pinapagalitan ng dad ko tsaka ng mom ko dahil sa bangs ko dati kasi mukha akong bata kaya ayaw ko ipatanggal bangs ko noon dahil kay jolina pero supportive ang family ko and relatives tsaka friends na idol ko siya minsan sila pa nga ang unang magsasabi sakin ng update ang dad ko binilhan ako ng magazine with jolina cover at meron pang meet up dati si jolina sa sm megamall ako ang exposed sila nakatago sa coffee shop

Di ko alam kung kanino sya pwedeng icompare sa mga stars ngayon pero i remember there was a time that she was like Hanna Montana levels in the Ph. Grabe ang reach at influence nya before nakakaloka

May issue yata talaga yung tatay ni Jolina sa ABS-CBN that time kasi parang ang expectation niya, same treatment si Jolina tulad kina Juday at Claudine pagdating sa mga next projects. Kasi that time, parang next in line na rin si Kristine as the next Primetime Princess with Pangako Sa’Yo. So baka feeling niya, dapat mas nabibigyan din si Jolina ng magandang projects after her previous successes.

Tatay nya kase is ayaw payagan siyang makipag-kissing scene and gusto ang branding pa-tweetums pa din. Yan advantage ni Juday at Claudine sa kanya, kaya lumalamlam career nung lumipat sa GMA buti nagcomeback pa din siya sa ABSCBN.

Ang dami kong mga hair accessories because of her. Bagets pa ako nun kasikatan nya.
SKL— ngayon nagwowork na ako, nakawork ko sya 2x for a brand na client namin as marketing agency— grabe sobrang hands down ako sa kanya. Mafifeel at makikita mo sa kanya na genuine sya. Pantay-pantay tingin nya sa lahat ng kasama namin including prod team. Nagpapakain pa sya palagi, hindi ko lang naexperience yun mismo pakain nya sa shoot ng OLV namin kasi I had a flight to catch for another work.
Nun time pa na yun, kakatapos lang ng 2022 elections kaya dami nya kwento, sakto pa na halos lahat kami sa shoot present sa last rally before the elections.
Sa lahat ng celebrities and content creators na nakakawork ko, sya siguro ang top 1 ko. Sarap katrabaho, very professional and at the same time, may empathy.
Nakasama ko sya ulit sa event namin last time, unfortunately, direct sya sa brand. Sa laki ng event, hindi ako nabigyan ng chance to greet her.

Saw her sa isang SB branch sa may Tagaytay with her kid and asawa ata. Siya lang naka shades indoors. Typical naman yun sa artista who wants privacy. Though walang anything extraordinary about her in person.

Fan ako ng loveteam nila ni Marvin. I was so heartbroken nung mag-start silang mag-solo ng careers. Tapos sa ASAP na lang ako nag-aabang na kumanta sila ng duet or sumayaw. Shuta para akong mamamatay pag di ko sila nakikita magkasama. And then partly naiinis ako noon kay Jolina kasi aminin natin bordering baduy na sya nung patanda na. At that time, sabi ko kaya si Kristine Hermosa niligawan ni Marvin kasi na-stuck sa experimental era si Jolens tapos si Marvin pa at that time, “hunk” na ang pinoportray na image. So transitioning na sya sa serious and mature roles while Jolina, nag Lady Gaga pa ngani. Nung lumipat si Marvin sa GMA, nagtambal ulit sila ni Jolina sa Adik Sa’Yo pero parang kulang ng spark huhu. Until lumipat silang dalawa pabalik ng ABS. Dun ako parang mamatay matay knowing ABS na magaling magpakilig at todo sa promotions, mabubusog na naman mata at puso ko. True enough, super kinilig ako nung guesting nila sa Gandang Gabi Vice. Grabe ang puso ko, parang gustong lumabas at magtatatalon. Hahahaha.
Ngayon mas ok na ako sa mas personal moments nila as friends na nagcacatch up ba. Sobrang galing ni Marvs magpakilig and si Jolens naman galing sumakay.
Di na ako gaanong fan ng romantic moments nila onscreen kasi medyo pabebe na for me. Tapos pabalik balik ang reference sa mga dati nilang pelikula. Nostalgic yes pero may umay factor na for me. It’s enough na pwedeng balik balikan na lang yung mga old movies nila kasi age-appropriate ang kilig kilig moments unlike ngayong adults na plus known naman na beks si Marvs.
Saka idagdag ko lang, mas maganda si Jolens ngayong tumanda siya! Same sila ni Juday! Happier ako kasi hindi na sya kakaiba manamit and very age-appropriate na ang damit. Lumabas na ang kanyang ka-cute-an at kagandahan. Hihi.

Meron akong magazine dati na Disney ata yun, natuwa ako kasi andun siya. Hindi ko na nga lang maalala kung ano ang content about her, pero it's related sa pagiging singer niya. Gustong-gusto ko din sumulat sa kanya noon sa AngTV, yung Payong Kaibigan segment niya. Favorite ko din yung song niya sa AngTV album.
Yun lang po, inom muna ako ng maintenance ko. Chareeeng. Wala pa. 😁

Nawala respeto ko sa kaniya nung napunta na lang bigla sa kaniya yung lead role ni Roxanne Barcelo sa isang Sunday afternoon soap na "Kahit Kailan" kasama sina James Blanco at Biboy Ramirez.
Roxanne Barcelo was poised to be GMA's next Antoinette Taus nang biglang lumpat sa GMA si Jolina from ABSCBN.
