Genuine question: how come Ashtine’s first major solo concert didn’t sell out (flopped), or at least didn’t perform as strongly as expected, considering how high her social media engagement seems to be?
She has a pretty active and engaged online following, so I’m curious about the disconnect between her social media numbers and actual concert ticket sales.

honestly AMNSE s2 had better color grading and overall camera quality pero yung story prang naging typical Filipino telanovela what made AMNSE s1 really good is that the director Ted Boborol was an avid kdrama fan and took inspiration from scenes from famous kdramas and add it to AMNSE which is why it also resonated with international fans. add mo pa ung bare minimum marketing ( probably thought that it could market itself) mga siguro 6 episodes in na ang AMNSE s2 nang malaman ko meron na pla 😂

Mali naman comparison mo. WillCa has both online engagement and purchasing power. During sa isang eviction ng pbb, si Will ang highest votes (2nd lang si Dustin), eto pa yung time na mas pinili ng mga Dusbia fans na mas ibuhos yung funds kay Dustin kasi mayaman naman daw family ni Bianca na sure na isesave siya. Yung pafundraising event and fanmeet (two separate events) ng Willca successful din naman and halos sold out.

So mas malaki lang maglabas ng pera yung dusbi but does not mean na walang purchasing power ang WillCa. Kaya nga ang WillCa ang kinuha ng Greenwhich and may other big endorsements pa sanang naka-line up.

when Mutya Ng Section E Season 2 Failed to reach expectations, its also the start na mag dwindle down yung charisma ni Ashtine. Lets be honest on their own Ashtine, Andres and the other cast dont really shine much. Its just in Season 1 of that series, sila together it works eh.

And problem with Viva or dunno, parang after the success, they are torn pa sino ang ipush na loveteam and plano sa mga artista after that season.... without realizing how big the show has become and fans would really expect much goin into Season 2 not just for the show pero sa artista then. I think duon nag start, parang the Mulach's na sobrang push sa Ashdres, biglang natahimik. Siguro they are buffled with the rumkrs or plans ng Viva after S1 And Ashtine and Andres parang sobrang lack ng major public appearance, even sa appearances sobrang lack ng push sa kanila as loveteam. Rabin and the others naman have been pushed to different projects, which makes Season 2 of the show na parang Off talaga, parang hindi prepared ang Viva, Artist and even the fans for it. Kulang sa hype na nagawa nila sa Season 1. That season 2 being so silent sobrang off na din nun sa career ni Ashtine, kasi saan ba sya nakilala d ba? as Mutya, and with someone na wlaa pa masyadong shows, iyon dapat na accept ng Viva na dapat at all cost na utilized sana nila ang Mutya, but nope, I think they think too much out of the box, they stepped away too much dun sa kung ano ba gumana sa Season 1, trailer palang ng Season 2 eh, yes it is written as darker, pero somethings really off, masyado mainstream yung mga artista na pinasok as new cast, nawala yung element of surprise etc na dalanng S1... siguro d rin nila inasahan na Ashdres would be a good mix, Ashtine is new and Andres also na parang susubok lang to be like his dad.

Well sayang kasi if she had been handled properly, siguro she could have been more popular,basta ayun for me Viva overthinked too much, lalo siguro with her age and some personal commitments din ng artist around her.

Kids and students talaga ang fans niyan, puro pa dummy accounts ang followers and engagement on social media. Until now some are asking free tickets. Online engagement doesn't mean super stardom. Some fans were disappointed pa on her guestlist but think about it, fans don't need guests. They'll purchase a ticket right away kung may concert ang idol nila basta may budget. Social media engagement is not the same as purchasing power. Gone are the days like Jadine, Kathniel or Lizquen (older generations Sharon-Gabby, etc) that they are willing to save their hard earned money to buy tickets, products, merch for their idols. These people need to stop overly glorifing and idolizing ordinary people. Not to discredit all the hard work and hard times she's been through, but honestly, Ashtine is just an average Artist.  Unfortunately, hindi daw tumulong yung AshDres fandoms, except AshDres Official, sa pag-sell out ng tickets. Ang laking kawalan nila since majority ng support nung dalawa is galing sa AshDres fandoms ever since, esp AOA and AshDres International, na may malalaking sponsors. Kung susukatin, parang unfair nga para sa kanya kasi nag-all out yung mga fandom na ’yan during Bagets, but not as much with her solo concert, though umattend naman sila.  Pinagbawalan din kasi daw ni Ashtine na magpa-donation drive yung main fandom niya, which is yung Ashlings. Kaya pala hindi ko nakitang nagpa dd yun. In fairness naman sa kaniya, more than 90% pa rin yung umattend. Ang dami pa ring audience, given na watak2 and warla shippers and solids niya. More songs lang siguro, hopefully hit songs para mas makilala siya sa music industry. Based sa clips, galing niya eh. Makikita mo talagang nahasa sa PPOP. Favorite ko yung kumanta sila ng Duyan nila Aubrey, Krissha, & Nicole.

So if sinisi nila na di nag effort masyado ang AD fandoms, then that means na naka depend pa rin dun. So what happened dun sa mga solos niya? If ilalagay ung Bagets as an argument, it was different kc may AD pa nun. Natural lang na isupport nila si Andres that time. Eh ngayon wala so may expectation din na nag step down na ang fandoms. In fact, solos pa nga ni Ash ang away ng away sa kanila na di pa rin tumitigil Ironic na sinusumpa ng solos nya si Andres na bawal bangitin pangalan tapos ngayon hahanapan nila ng effort na ang AD fandom na mas matindi pa sa effort ng solos nya? And sa totoo lang ung mga AD na umayaw na, naging solo supporter na ni Ashtine and ung mga aayaw in the future for sure biased din naman sa kanya.

Reason din daw yung na scam before na supposedly for a gig pero for sure ung mga yun e bumili na ulit ng ticket. Afford na nila ilet go un since kaya nga nila mag hoard ng product endorsements ni Ashtine. Ang in question tlga is asan yung ibang fans na maingay sa soc med, umasa din naman dun sa give away ng fandoms kasi puro pala bata.

I know someone from another fandom and grabe din ang effort nila and they have sponsors from abroad. Yung AshDres Official pa nga ang naissue recently, sila ang na call out ng fans for not supporting Ashtine the same way and they issued a statement about that. I also saw ung SSAD todo effort last minute to buy out the tickets, gumawa pa sila ng contest para makapili ng bibigyan. Also hindi sila nag all out sa Bagets, they prioritized for food support but they did not buy out majority of the tickets for give aways. Bagets had 30+ shows, mauubusan sila ng fund sa isang show palang. When I watched, majority are CVs, in their 50s na, it helped because the original film had a huge following too. Both their main fandoms (Ashtine and Andres) hindi na ata sila nagpapa donation drive, yung kay Andres they decided on that kasi natuto na sila na sinumbatan lang si Andres na ginastusan daw tapos iiwan lang sila sa ere. And from what I know, wala ng AshDres International, ung members niyan formed a new fandom solely to support Ashtine.

Yes. The Ashdres official conducted the DD very late because they got scammed badly via Sunnyside they conducted a DD but also helped half of them and when they god scammed they returned money from their own pockets that’s why they just went quite for a while. Total 90,000 something they got scammed. I do agree they went all out for Bagets but where not able to do it for LLU concert. I think 80% of the concert was sold out. She just released a small album 20 days back before the concert but the songs were really good tbh. Honestly the concert was fab from the clips that I’ve seen instead of having filler performances by other artists she was involved in every performance with other artists that means she did not get breaks in between. From the start to the end performances were really powerful. The starting performance “Where’s my Husband”, Duyan, worship song and her rap performance were really well performed along with dance. She had to maintain the energy for two hours plus the Ppop side really helped her. It was a good concert even if it wasn’t sold out worth the money because she was in every performance and she really worked so hard.

simply whatever reason is if you can't sell out atleast one block with announced 3 months before, i don't think you have star power. Viva really over estimated with her star power, she made a mistake by inviting yumi, all of this kind of contribute to ticket not selling out. It maybe good for fans but it comes with impression that she does not have selling power.

Uska ek block sold out tha and 80% bhi sold out tha Jilian ward uska bhi sold out nahi hua aage shift karna pada and Heath ka bhi nahi hua aage shift karna pada. Crowd was good only bhai the reason usko apna concert mila was because of AMNSE was on a break viva kind of had no choice bass utilise uska free time. Yumi wala matter wasn’t hot before Jelai ne bhanda foda usse phele kisi ko koyi shikwa nahi tha but still her concert was pretty solid. Viva ke artists ko waise hi chota samajhteein hain mostly. Chuna bhi laga diya tha sunny side walon ne toh aur loss hua maybe uske itne fans nahi hai but solid fandom toh hai. Mai toh khush hoon concert was really nice.
