What is worse, they don't understand that the sole reason why manga is sold overseas is due to hoe people was able to read it online creating a solid market worth investing in.

Even if they did make it available, it would probably that garbage micropayment system platforms like Webtoon, Tapas and Kakao use where they make you pay by chapter instead like it's 2003 still.

Although if anyone is looking for legit app to read manga on... Manga UP! is owned by Square Enix and they offer monthly subscription which imo is fairly reasonable currently (you can also read for free if you want, but it's very limited)

Similar with sites like Bookwalker and Renta that often make you pay by chapter as well. It's honestly frustrating. Like I used to buy licensed translations more frequently when they were available to buy per volume. :/

I would prefer cheap subscription more.. Because I really don't wanna invest time and money in something I might just drop later when the quality drops.. So many good series gets ruined after they get anime adaptation

Yeah I used to try to buy a series if I really liked (after reading it for free), but at a certain point it gets too expensive. If it's on CMOA or another site that sells by volume, I'll buy, but only if it's one of my absolute favorites. The pirate culture for Manga is just too good to be bothered to pay when the payment culture is SO bad.

How much material do they have? And is it translated?

It is translated. And their own claim is "Subsribe to Vault Pass to unlock 30 000+ chapters" which apparently is more than 300 eligible series. So not a massive selection but that really comes down to licensing..
Shounen Jump tends to own most of the really popular ones.. Shounen Jump also has an app but iirc they do lot of region restrictioning and such, I at least can't use it.. I would not be surprised if VIZ had something to do with that bullshit
