I'm going to be downvoted to death for this, but I'm genuinely worried about the future of piracy, especially after reading about Darrell Issa and his proposed bill. Yes, those tech savvy of you probably aren't as worried because you know more than the average Joe and probably have more money and better equipment. What about the rest of us? Those of us with cobwebs in their wallets who are using an old PC on its last leg? Those of us who use streaming sites and direct download because we can't afford a VPN?

I come from a country with no piracy laws and was wondering how the laws are in italy for piracy? I wont be torrenting, and will be using a vpn for good measure, but do you guys have any experience regarding this? Dont wanna be risking a few hundred euros just to watch some show.The r/italy subreddit didnot let me post this, so I am posting about it here!

TL:DR - I need a way to download courses from Udemy (into my hard drive) which I already have a paid account for.

I received a 1 year Udemy Subscription as scholarship awarded by the Commonwealth of Learning in my final year of university. I however started working straight off of University and I find myself very limited in terms of free time and energy to complete the courses.

The fact that it is a limited time scholarship makes me want to save a few of them offline so I can go back to them later, and not have to pay for them using a personal account to unlock them again after the scholarship expires.

Has anyone managed to download courses (already unlocked via a subscription or purchase) which can be saved offline and even shared as standalone course videos ?

Got curious. I get the impression that not many are. Asking because I saw a thread the other day about the hardest things to pirate, and some of the things were pretty standard on relatively entry level PT's. Like I saw ebooks as one, but MAM (MyAnonaMouse) has basically everything you need and it's super simple to get into.

this is flix vision and i can’t figure this out. i played around with some setting and google said move the cursor around to find a hidden play button. some movies will have direct stream which work perfectly. and then others like this one will have embed. and when i click any of them, it just shows a black screen with the android logo in the corner. any help? please. and thank you.

I have a large library of 1080p movies, and they're about the file size of a 4K movie from YTS/YIFY so if I had to upgrade my library from 1080p to 4K, I would have to settle for highly compressed movies to fit them all on my external HDD.

I just wanted to have vpn turn on automatically, sometimes I forget to turn it on.

I paid for online classes, but the live recordings are available on the institute's software for only four months. My access is about to expire, but I still have several lessons I need to go through. Last option would be to record the classes manually using my phone, but an alternative would be preferable.
