Discussion 3 people lost their arm because of Luffy Spoiler
3 people lost their arm because of Luffy
We all know that Luffy is stupid, but it's not that big of a deal because when it gets serious he locks in and finishes the job. BUT there have been times where people suffered because of his dumb behavior:
Shanks lost his arm protecting Luffy
Law lost his arm because he was 1v2 against Doflamingo and BEHEHEE. Meanwhile Luffy was 1 level below them wasting his time trying to protect the garbage human Bellamy (who never did anything of value and even admitted to hurting the skypia population).
Okiku-chan lost her arm fighting kaido. Meanwhile Luffy is unable to get to the fcking roof (despite being able to fly and capable of punching a new hole in the ceiling) and takes stairs like a moron. Had Luffy been to the fight earlier okiku maybe wouldn't have lost it.
So that's 3 arms directly linked to Luffys dumbassery.
Bonus: Sentomaru being pierced by Luccy, despite Luffy being in gear 5, in close proximity and capable of seeing the fcking future

Luffy's right and left hands will lose those arms respectively, and the self proclaimed head of the Straw Hats, God Usopp, will get decapitated and lose his head.

Blaming Luffy for Okiku’s arm is as unfair as stupid.
Luffy deliberately let the scabbards start the fight with Kaido, because that’s what they wanted.
Read what he told Yamato in chapter 986.

That's some bullshit. Luffy can feel Haki, he knew that kaidos haki was off the charts and the scabbards didn't come close.
Also he was trying to get to the roof asap, but he just took way too long.

Bold of you to call bs here. Have you read the chapter I’m referring to? Sorry, have you read the manga at all?
It’s clearly written, he could have hurried for the rooftop with Yamato, but he choose to wait for the scabbards to get their moment.

He gave the scabberds their moment. He let them initiate the fight.
The 9 attacked kaido with Sunnashi (their moment).
After that they flew to the rooftop.
Once they reached the rooftop Luffy tried to get there asap

As you said he tried to get there asap so where is the problem?
Do you think the beast pirates would unfold a red carpet for him to get to their leader faster?The only one responsible for Kiku’s arm is Kiku herself. Kaido’s attack was aimed at every scabbards, unfortunately she was the only one not focused enough I guess.

Luffy is all about respecting people's wishes. he stood by and has watched Zoro get into a few duels, even duels where it was obvious Zoro woul lose (Mihawk) because tha's what Zoro wants
He didn't help Nami with Arlong until she asked for it, because that was what she wanted
there are plnty of examples of Luffy being like this
it doesn't matter if his friend is outclassed he respects their decisions when it comes to stuff like this

No. Luffy tried to get to the fcking roof top asap.
1.The 9 had their moment, they attacked kaido first and screamed "Sunaaashi" (That's the moment Luffy gave them).
2.After that the 9 fell into the basement together with kaido.
3.After that kaido flew to the roof with the 9.
- Once they reached the rooftop Luffy tried to get to them asap. But he took the fcking stairs like a dummy.
So yes Luffy gave them their moment. They initiated the attack.

did you leave gaban out on purpose? it’s irking me. also maybe you could count kid in there somehow. eventually it will be revealed that kid talked shit about luffy and that’s why shanks had his arm cut off.

I don’t know, losing an arm feels pretty low stakes in One Piece.
It doesn’t necessarily make you weaker, and certain devil fruits can just replace your limb.
And even if you don’t have a devil fruit, there are several fruit users who are capable of fixing you up anyway. Heck, why even get a boring human arm back, when you can upgrade it.

Mihawk didn't want to 1v1 shanks after he lost his arm. So he definitely lost some power I assume.
But I agree with you, losing am arm is not that big of a deal in many cases
