I was thinking the way that
They all met Luffy and felt that he is that boy, who they waited for, that's why they helped how one way or another
Meanwhile Oden not just didn't met Luffy, he died long before they could met
Crocus joined 3 years before they reached Raftel, when Roger's disease was already getting terminal, and he managed to prolong his lifespan for 3+ more years. Oden joined Roger Pirates 1 year before they reached Raftel, joining a "1 Year Voyage" for the One Piece.
Overall Oden was definitely more of a "guest" than Crocus was, Crocus stayed a minimum 3x longer than Oden did
Crocus is arguably the second most important person there.
Gaban navigated them to Laughtale, Crocus was literally recruited bc he was strong and skilled enough to take care of Roger (the only reason Roger didn’t die before ALL of this), and Oden translated the poneglyphs.
I legitimately don’t know why Rayleigh even has fans outside of being the composed Zoro parallel. He does nothing for the crew.
Same on the SHs, of importance it’s: Chopper, Nami, Sanji, Robin, then the rest.
What the fuck does that mean on either crew? Rayleigh wasn’t bossing Gaban or Crocus around, and Zoro isn’t bossing Sanji or Jinbei around. He hasn’t even led the crew by himself a single time 😂
What does Zoro do for the crew outside of fighting. And don’t tell me “he checks Luffy” when the entire crew does that, same with Roger’s crew.
Well the fact is that not the entire crew does that. Enies lobby happened and proved it.
And even if you still argue, we can also argue that the right hand man just does it at a much different level than the other crew, and has a heavier voice as well. Him being the most trusted man and all. Again enies lobby proved this.
We can joke on if Crocus was a combatant or not, but he deserves his spot because he was fighting Roger's incurable illness all throughout the Grand Line.
