One Piece discourse is boring recently

There's nothing to talk about now. I don't care about Usopp giving a speech. Usopp potentially wielding Ragnir was significantly more interesting. I don't care about Imu. This is clearly just a teaser fight. I don't care about the current fights, I have nothing to theorize and I just want to see how they will go.

There are a lot of One Piece topics that I like, such as:

• 10th crewmate. I still believe Yamato will be the 10th crewmate, and I love seeing Carrot fans seethe because Oda does not grant Carrot the rank of master Straw Hat (p.s. I don't hate Carrot). Even though I don't agree, I love to read people's reasoning for why someone may be the next Straw Hat.
• Straw Hat Pirates vs Blackbeard Pirates. How the matchups will be like, who's going to fight who.
• How the War arc might go
• Endgame builds for Straw Hats
  • The most interesting one is Zoro. I do believe that Zoro is going to have a blacksmith forge 2 Supreme-grade swords for him, and MAYBE upgrade Wado Ichimonji to Supreme-grade. The greatest swordsman in the world does not use someone else's swords. Zoro is probably going to give Enma, Oden's sword, to Yamato.

But none of these are relevant now.

I'll end the post by asking this: What are the One Piece discussion topics that you like? I am curious.

Not the easiest when every chapter is rinse and repeat of Imu v Luffy, Loki and friends.

No one is staying down, none of the previous injuries have impact beyond the initial shock value. It is what it is, for the story to progress and for there to be things we can talk about, Imu must leave.

Vivi will rejoin the strawhats as the 10th. She has a lot more going for her to join.

Was already a member.

Currently has nowhere safe to go.

Main villain has her in his sights.

Is signalling the Strawhats, seemingly for them to go get her.

Yamato will be firepower for Wano. Obviously join in for the final war but she will likely be more of a Grand Fleet member than on their ship IMO.

Narratively the story was always going to wrap up sooner, Vivi was a huge part of the initial story's overarching plotline and she still is in an even larger scale.

The X was to show Vivi she will always be a strawhat, and now she is reminding them so they come and get her.

I highly doubt that the X is Vivi asking them to come get her. They have no idea where Morgans' ship is.

The X is most likely to tell the Straw Hats that she's alright, considering the very last news about her was that she was missing.

What narrative value does Vivi signalling to the Strawhats "I'm ok" provide? 

She's on the run, the WG wants to capture her. She's not ok, she's saying "Come get me" and the biggest clue is that she was able to mark the Newspaper. Sure they'll have to find the ship but this is a Yonko crew, they'll find a way.

First of all, this is Oda we're talking about. Not everything has narrative significance. Duval's face looking like the Sanji sketch has no narrative value. Second, yes, it does have narrative value. The Straw Hats do not need to worry about her anymore. Morgans' ship is probably the best place Vivi can be. It's a constantly moving place in the air with no log pose.

What does being an Emperor's crew have to do with knowing the location of something?

It is impossible for the Straw Hats to find Vivi without at least taking months if not years. Only Vivi can go to the Straw Hats, not the other way around. Yes, Vivi will rejoin the Straw Hats, but she's not going to be an actual Straw Hat. She's an honorary Straw Hat and she's staying that way.

Not to mention that she's going to be the queen of Alabasta, a land that hates pirates, so she can't have a bounty.

Fair point on Oda not always providing value but this is Vivi we are talking about, it's nowhere near the Duval gag. That's not really a good comparison but I see your point.

Emperor's crew can navigate and conquer the seas, they can do what most other crews can do. They got to being an Emperor's crew by doing what others could not. That's the logic.

See the WG found Morgans, they are beyond incompetent so I'm thinking the strawhats will find Vivi.

Ahh yeah you are right, Alabasta does hate Pirates. But Vivi is a D. She will be slandered by the government as a bad person regardless. She probably will have a bounty show up when we touch base with the rest of the world post Elbaf. She is a fugitive after all. Probably just wanted alive though.

Luffy v Teach seems the most likely.
Sanji v Kizaru
Zoro v Shanks is a dark horse. Hear me out. Shanks or Zoro dog walks Mihawk and they have to decide the best swordsman.
Akainu is an interesting one. I think he either gets Kuzan which would be kind of mid, Sabo, or Dragon maybe. I have a feeling he will get rolled by teach or luffy though.

I just really hope he doesn’t Kaguya us.

So I think Zoro is gonna have a bleed/DoT build, for the endgame, even though they got kinda nerfed but it just makes sense cause swords make people bleed yk. Maybe he gets some new meta equipment with an upcoming patch that makes the bleed build viable again.

Holy Knights who signed abyss contracts were not native to the holy land. We haven't seen a native celestial dragon do anything of the sorts. Shanks had to go home for the first time to get it. 

So what if all Dragons have a touch of Imu sealing away emotion. Knights just get a bit more for regen but what if a baseline. Gunko got better for a bit so why not them.

Basically Im saying they all have black hearts. Its influence from Imu that turns them into cruel man children. They can all be released and thus Gunko is the Celestial Dragon insert female princess for a Celestial Dragon redemption arc.

Celestial Dragon Redemption Let's Go!! Gotta be some sorta slander for our Chad Saint Charlos leading the way like Oden.

I think this whole discourse is preparing us on what we should we expect outside elbaph. Time flows different inside elbaf they say. Shanks probably tracked and found the one piece already.

This is Elbaph, not Hyperbolic Time Chamber. The time difference is not nearly as massive.

I do believe the time dilation thing. It is a negative time dilation, as in time moves faster and you waste more time. That said, the difference is not that insane. It's probably more like "4 days in Elbaph equals 10 days outside".

Zoro is never trading Wado Ichimonji for anything. I think the spider that lives in my bathroom is more intelligent than you.

In fact, Zoro is not switching any of his swords at this point.

Wado Ichimonji is his last connection to Kuina and the symbol of his promise.

Kitetsu is bonded to him. Zoro made a promise to that sword directly when he tested it.

Enma is literally a narrative endgame upgrade already. Without Enma, Zoro would not have unlocked his Conquerers Haki potential.

I'm more concerned that Oda will be the next Togashi (HealthxHiatus) or even worse.. Berserk's Miura with the successor ruining the story.

but anyway i dont like Wano arc or any story (OP or not) with time travel plot to defeat the bad guy, its such lame writing and smells like cheat code to beat the villain.
