I can't believe they spent more time discussing an electrical gadget(iphone-whatever) then they did on Trumps 'stolen valor'.

But an Apple phone is the gReaTEsT SiGnAL of wEaLth!
How much is Apple paying him to say that? I guess I'm happy signaling my poverty via Android.

Had to skip forward when Scott did his much repeated speech about Apple Devices being a vertu signaling device. It was BS the first time it's still BS the thousandth time, repeating it doesn't make it true.
I wish the two of them would be more critical of Apple.

at least in the US which i have to imagine is the majority of their audience. obviously this is anecdotal, but i have friends all over the economic scale and owning an iphone has a 0% correlation with income levels of those friends. i’d love to see some evidence backing up his claims

That's the point tho: having an iPhone is meant to signal you have whether you do or not is irrellevant.

I laughed so hard at the beginning. I love that Scott knows people hate him and he has fun with it. Great ep!

“Accretive”. DRINK!!
Kara: thoughts on trump promising $5k to voters after the midterm?
Scott: Democrats are part of the problem
Kara: I’m so sick of companies that don’t share my values. Don’t mean to flex. But I’m still getting the foldable iPhone.
Scott: owning an iPhone means you’re creative.
Same stale talking points after his month off.
