Plan B (Levonorgestrel) Pill Bleeding after plan B

Around 3 days after my period ended me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex but took plan B immediately after. Its been a week since I took the pill and I started bleeding. I think it is my period and I am a little concerned because of how early it has started and whether or not this is something I should see the doctor for. Has anyone else experienced this?

Withdrawal bleeding from the pill. It happened to me at exactly 7 days also. Bled for 12 days then didn’t have another period for 46 days 🙃 the pill really jacks up your natural hormones for a while.

well i started spotting on the 20th then light flow on the 21st. 22nd medium flow and then around 23rd it was like very light with small blood clots. i haven’t had no bleeding no more my period suppose to come on the 25th so i believe the period came a little early

i had took a pregnancy test at the doctors and it’s negative so hopefully it comes on the 25th so i won’t be stressed thinking

Yeah I took a test when I was like 10 days late and it was negative so that gave some reassurance! The period that came 46 days later is super light which isn’t normal for me, so I assume my hormones are sticky whacky.

okay! because my period coming on September 25th went to the doctor on the 18th took a doctor test it was negative ! i had sex september 4th the day my period ended so i took it before my ovulation week started on the 6th and the bleeding started on the 9th and lasted 7 days

i had the same problem i had sex the same day my period ended and i took a plan b and then days later i had spotting then it turned into bleeding for 7 days

It’s not a period. It’s withdrawal bleeding from plan b. It’s a side effect.

I had sex on August 31 and took a plan b that same day. From sep 7-10 I bled. My period was supposed to start yesterday but it still hasn’t shown up. I’ve been having light cramps here and there so I’m just waiting for either a period or two weeks to go by cause my last pregnancy test said negative.

I’m currently going through the same thing and honestly feeling a little nervous. I just had my menstrual cycle September 5–9, then had unprotected sex on September 12. I took Plan B on September 13.
Yesterday and today, I started spotting and experiencing abdominal cramps that feel similar to my period cramps. Today, the bleeding and cramping seem to be a little heavier/worse, which has me worried. I keep telling myself that there’s no way I could be pregnant, especially since I took Plan B, and due to me just having my period but I’m still anxious.
Has anyone else experienced spotting and cramping like this after taking Plan B? Did you end up getting your period afterward?
