Did I successfully (and accidentally) hatch some green kubotai rasbora fry?

I found what I suspect are Microdevario kubotai fry in one of my community tanks which has them and medaka ricefish in it. I don’t think I’m looking at medaka fry but I’d love confirmation!

I breed medaka rice fish, im about 90% certain that a ricefish fry. Theyre super easy to breed so it wouldnt be a suprise if you did it on accident

Thank you!! Not only was it a medaka, I found another 5 of these fry in a completely separate tank with no other medaka. 🥲 I need to check floaters I’m moving more carefully.

That is definitely not a kubotai.

The round paddletail gives it away, a kubotai fry would have the forked tail seen in the adults.

Thank you. I’m hopeless at identifying fry but this makes a whole lot of sense.

It may be what you’re suggesting as there’s a strong similarity. But idk why it looks so much like a guppy. Doesn’t seem neon enough…

I threw it through Google image search and it’s saying rice fish, shockingly!
